The Mane 6 are all crazy in their own ways, imo. Pinkie herself is just sporadic, she flips emotions on a hair trigger and has a very scatterbrained thought process, but as a general rule is very intelligent, kind, and morally grounded (not to say that she doesn't step on others figurative toes from time-to-time).

I give up. The only thing that's bullshit here is the whole "I don't like it, therefore it's stupid" attitude of yours. I mean if other people liked the fight scene, why try to stop them?

I'm pretty stubborn myself, EarthbendingProdigy, Miaq_the_Truthful, ghostfacekiller39, Dark Qiviut, Grumpy Enchantress, and many others already know that, but I never "reject" their ideas and opinions (hopefully it doesn't come across as such). I try to give their side a chance, and try to understand at the very least where they're coming from. Hell, Prodigy and Dark swayed me on "Somepony to Watch Over Me" with their points, and Ghostie swayed me on "A Dog and Pony Show." My point is, if you're naturally stubborn you have to find a middle ground, because rejecting every other argument outright is arrogant, and leads to ignorance.

1. How do you know for sure why people like it? 2. I don't know much about DBZ, but I think you're in the minority on the "it's stupid" view. 3. Other people's enjoyment of the scene should not lessen your own, that's not fair to the piece of media represented. 4. Generally, DBZ's fights are viewed as a strength, not a flaw, and it has greatly influenced all other anime. 5. Faust stated in an interview that MLP had been inspired by Magical Girl animes. When combined with 4, you see the point. 6. Despite people claiming that the scene was violent it really wasn't. There are only two true acts of violence in it: Tirek tosses Twilight to the mountain and pushes her through, Twilight retaliates and Tirek get smashed into the ground. 7. The friendship motif is there like you originally said you wanted, so what's the issue?

Really!? My bad. It does sound similar after a rewatch, but it wasn't close enough that it bothered me, personally.

I believe Tabitha St. Germain did Luna's singing role, not Kazumi Evans.

I said this on your last blog post, and I don't want to get into it again, but the narrative is not treating Twilight's friends as disposable, you are. Please step back and take a look at the fact that Tirek was only defeated when Twilight and her friends used their combined efforts to open the Harmony Box.
