I am on number 15 right now and they are hilarious! The humor and 4th wall breaking pop culture is off the wall. However, I ran into a small problem. It is the story of Shinning Armor and Cadence. How cannon is that story? If it is cannon, it is very inconsistent with the cartoon and how it was presented. It just seems to me that the past they all shared would not leave Twilight to be quite as surprised that Shinning Armor and he would get married eventually. She should had known that they were still dating etc. I dunno, it just seems to leave the connection between how they interact with each other a bit weak if all what happened in the comic actually did. Also, It is VERY Hilariours *Spoilers* that Shinning Armors Cutie mark is a Dungeons and Dragons Cutie mark LULZ! I mean REALLY! He is a freaking dork?! ...like...ME?! He just earned himself a million experience points! If you don't believe me he is a dungeons and dragons cutie mark! 1. He was never in the Royal guard or the guard...still in school! 2. He was not a fighter...obvious from being harassed from bullies. If his cutie mark was that sheild thing like what I thought it was, He would had used it to block the bully guy! 3. His friends all played d&d with him and one even had a d&d mark as well! 5. He was a level 9 paladin, whats a paladin without his shield? What is his cutie mark? A shield? eh?. ....EH?! 6. Do not pay attention to the missing number behind the screen. The number 4 does not concern you! Basically, shinning armor showed zero interest in protecting or fighting. He had no magical shield in the comic and only played d&d and was a giant nerd. The only reason he is in the RG now is because he was that giant nerdy kid who got...really...REALLY lucky! The kid me and millions of others wish for lol! So, I think he got his cutie mark in being the best paladin a gamer group could ever ask for like what his friends said lol.

If they all completely changed as a result of their adventures, they would not be the same characters. Then everyone would be pissed that they were not the same pony they liked and they are ruining the show. There is only so much you can do to a character before they become completely different and non consistency ruins the show.

I agree with the redemption. What I was mearly suggesting is that they had a falling out with each other and the forgiveness episode would be about them having to forgive each other in order to work together to solve a problem that only their combined talent could solve to save the heroes.

I really enjoy anything that has to do with them. They are not villains, but serve as a musical and very enjoyable obstacle for the characters to overcome in whatever snake oil sales pitch these two have cooked up! They are the only ponies I know of that have a cutie mark that is a devotion mark. A term I would like to coin for them and any other future ponies who's cutie mark does not have anything to do with their mission in life, talents, but a mark the symbolizes their attachment or purpose with being with someone else. It is quite self evident in the fact that their cutie mark is one apple with a piece missing and the other who's cutie mark is the missing piece. Plus, their songs are AWESOME SAUCE! Would you like to see Flim and Flam return for season 5? A cool idea would maybe be an episode where the two is having issues with each other and try to break the dual up and somehow get dragged into an adventure together with some of the main six where they are forced to work together to save the day, but the only way to do so is to do "something" that the both of them are very good that only the two of them can do together as team. Could make for a good forgiveness episode in friendship!

Link should tell all. Somehow it fossilizes in super speed. Or perhaps they create some sort of Star wars like carbonite like gas or liquid out of their body. But it is so slow they need to somehow transfix you so you cannot wont notice your body going numb as they start covering your body with it. So they are somehow are able to do mild psycho suggestions to make you look them in the eyes so when they fling, pour or ooze out the rock stuff that covers you and hardens instantly around you making it look like you turn to stone, noticing it would break the "spell" and you could break out of it early enough to break your way out. You got me on how the creature falling unconscious or dying etc, would break whatever it has already done. When it saw its reflection, maybe it gets confused somehow and accidentally starts to cover itself thinking that is it's new prey? manticore could just be a animal like how everything else is maybe?

While true it is referred to as magic, there can be a number of reasons. They could be somehow doing it without realizing what they are doing. The aging spell is quite easy...see picture above lol. If it is possible to set the age clock backwards, setting it forwards would be a simple task as well. Discord is obviously a lot like Q from star trek. He is omnipotent in the sense that there is "almost" nothing he can do. I have thought about how the different races of ponies like alicorns and pegasi. It could be that the species is split somehow. Q from star trek can have his "omnipotence" taken away from him by his council or elders or whatever it was called. It might be possible that each of the ponies are a single race. The race that IS alicorns. Also think of it as the Tau from Warhammer 40k. Each person is born into a predetermined caste. Each caste has its own authority, duty, and physical traits of the race. So we have alicorns whom "just like Q" are granted the full status of their race. Then below them in the next caste or race of ponies is the unicorns who are allowed to make use of their magic. Unicorns are obviously the masters as they have full use of magic and can do anything. Plus alicorns are just a pair of wings away from them and all known Alicorns are royalty and destined to rule, therefor, I can assert that social order dictates they are next in line. Then below them are the Pegasi which are given the gift of winged flight. These ponies make up the military as we all know because of their mobility and military background. Then we have earth ponies with their limited growing magic. They are the work horses as we all know! the bakers, farmers, and so on. They have no magic, no flight and are the bottom of the barrel, but have the highest range of special talents and jobs to do in life. Because Twilight became an alicorn, we know that everypony must have the ability to become so. Twilight did not BECOME an alicorn though. She was "MADE" into an alicorn by Celestias powers. She was granted her power. remember Tirrek? She was "granted" that power. Those gifts and special abilities. My theory on that is the energy of whatever that power is was transferred. The magic itself is a energy source and the science they know is how to use it.

Sorry for the large photo above, but it is clear that we read it in order to understand the premise of the idea. It has been mathematically calculated that the speeds at which Rainbow dash travel, let alone accelerate at should be impossible for that character. Furthermore, other calculations is the fact that Applejack should be easily snapping those tree's in half and could obliterate any human with a single kick. We also have ponies who control the weather and can actually touch, sleep on and move clouds as if they were physical objects which we know is impossible. The sun and moon are "controlled" as if they revolve around the world which we know is a complete lie. Actually, this is a main thing about the series that makes me really REALLY angry. Indoctrinating children with ancient stuff like that...GRRRR....BUT its a cartoon and we are sure to teach them later that is not the case and you cannot control the sun and moon like that......or can you? What if Celestias power was NOT to control the sun, but to actually physically move the actual planet around itself? What if lunas power was that of gravity as well, but her power is much weaker so she can only effect the moons position within the sky? We all know that they have not and do not continually control both celestial bodies 100% of the time. The world was confirmed to be around well before they ever were born and they were born. So, the weather, the sun, and moon had to of gotten along way before any ponies ever came along to do stuff with it! So what changed? Well, I think that the "magic" they talk about in general is really just a super high level of science! Why else would earth ponies be able to plant seeds and watch as they almost immediately sprout? Is there any evidence in the show itself, comics or anywhere that might also help point that these ponies are not using magic, that magic doesn't exist, rather they are just a race of sentient beings with technology far greater then our own? Technology and science know how that goes so far beyond what we can understand that we just "think" it is magic because its indistinguishable from it?

I don't normally brohoof something, but when I do, I choose dos your post! I never had a embarassing moment. My parents and family will never know and my friends don't care. One guy at work knows and hates the show and I never asked why. Him: some conversation about how adventure time is the best show ever. other guy: mentions another show and how AT is not that great. Me: MLP FIM is better then your show! Him: What? Never would had pictured you as a brony! I hate that show! OF all the worst possible things ever to see when a parent walks in.

I just got into the show a year ago. Right at the beginning of season 4.

It would end up like the middle east probably. The alicorns would be taken out and they would fight back and lose and resitances would be built up and it would be a giant war zone as we drill for oil.

Its really big....and soft too. Its not stiff and hard like the others. Its really a pillow of sorts.

The top 10 things to piss off the brony community! 1. Return to the old art styles of realistic horse looking characters. 2. Kill off a main character 3. Main character gets married or has a "special friend" with the exception of Twilight at the very end of the series. 4. Change all the character voices to something completely different. 5. Sell the mlp franchise to WB kids or 4kids 6. add human characters to the actual fim series 7. make main six alicorns 8. hasbro licences "adult" mlp merchandise and t.v web series. 9. Cancel the show just before season 5 begins. 10. Add sea ponies and keep adding more different kinds of ponies and misc side species that do not fit with the current gen.
