I'd go traditional first. If you can do traditional art, the switch to digital should be trivial, however, if you become to reliant on the tools of digital art, it can be very hard to move to traditional. -

Hey guys, so I'm working with a team of talented people to create an Avatar the Last Airbender video game, and I was asked to score the Earth Nation theme. The point of this was to create a piece that feels like it fits the part without using any actual assets from the show or series... The team seems to like it, so I figured I'd post it here and see what everypony here thinks. P.S. Please ignore the weird name... It's a required naming convention of the staff. I went alone to the last BronyCon and I had the time of my life! I met some really nice people there. It was kinda awkward for the first few hours until I got the nerve up to talk to some other bronies. -
getting rid of that old tube might help clean up the mess...

Really really nice vectors! Dash's tail and mane outline are a bit thick, but other than that, really nice!

When I used mac (6 - 8 years ago at least) I used virtual PC and just emulated windows when I needed it... It was a bit bulky, but it also crashed alot less...
