      Season 4 was better, though season 5 and 7 are my favorites so far.

      Season 8 had the weakest season premiere, but the finale was BOMB.

    While I still consider it the weakest season, I've grown to love and appreciate Season 3 a lot more by considering the circumstances it had going against it and what it was trying to pull off. It lacks the focus of Seasons 1-2 and the later entries, but it's still wildly entertaining.

      Yeah. I regret the didn't have the full 26 episodes to explore how Twi expresses each of the Elements fully, and the whole "final spell" thing is a cop-out - The S4 finale is much more how she should have earned her wings.

      Honestly, the ascension didn't bother me at all. In fact, I think it works as a conclusion to the show's first act (Seasons 1-3). I take more issue with the fact that the fallout of the royal wedding rehearsal wasn't addressed and that we never got to see Twilight reconcile with the others.

    I'm not saying it's a guarantee, bit given how every episode involving the Wonderbolts - even the bad ones (and they could get really fucking bad) - were crucial to Rainbow Dash's growth and development in the series, getting another episode centered on her is likely.
