My memories of the past and feelings long gone by dance at the edges of my consciousness as my psyche flickers like a slowly dying flame in an attempt to sleep
my mind casts their ghastly forms in a dull glow just far enough away to give me senses of dread, but not enough to define what creatures give me such an electrifying and time slowing feeling- like walking in the woods and hearing heavy animal like noises and an unfamiliar howl just one hill over
I fear I may not rest well this evening, hopefully I may be able to coast through work on fumes and pull an emergency landing tomorrow night after my obligations are at their end

About to pick up the kids from school, working at an after school daycare for kids from kindergarten to high schoolers sure is a circus sometimes!
but I feel like I'm doing good, so that's all that matters ^W^

And with the closing ceremony ending at 515 today, I say goodbye to this beautiful little pastel world, where everyone is super cheerful and free to be themselves without others judgement
It's sad to see it all end, it quite frankly had me pretty emotional when the closing ceremony let out
But I was sad because, I'd just experienced the best and longest happiness that I can remember
I wouldn't changed a moment that happened here, from meeting friends I'd been longing for years to hang out with from this forum, to meeting awesome new ones- from the amazing panels and stellar guest of honor to the raves and the Klingon bar
It was all like a dream, a dream I never wish to forget
A dream that I can hold onto anywhere I go, to help put wind in my sails when they're slack
Babscon 2018, thank you for everything ❤
Looking forward to babscon 2019 already

this was like nothing I'd ever experienced before, and with how I am, I tend to get pretty anxious and fearful about new things, especially this big
