Stay healthy. Be chill. Never let fear compromise who you are.
There's so much to live for.

Everyone knows I love tea, but this is simply a more appropriate drink for the occasion.

@Kyoshi It's good! I recommended a spoonful for the perfect chocolatey hit.

Today is the day of the Winter Solstice. Long ago, the ancient peoples of my land built a passage tomb to mark the occasion of the first light. Newgrange is a remarkable monument that captures the light of the rising sun within its chamber on the day of the Winter Solstice, blessing the souls that were laid there to rest. It's something I would love to one day see in person, though sadly they only allow so many to attend on the day so as not to cause significant disruption. Ah well. Maybe some day.
Happy Luna Day, everyone!

The hardest part about doing the right thing is that people who should normally be on your side will hate you for it.
-
It's like some will only do the right thing if it'll make them look good or when/if it's convenient for them.
I love this quote.
"Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy." – Albus DumbledoreAlso, true story: When I was at the self-checkout at Kroger one time, there was an older guy next to me. He finished before I did, and I noticed he left his change behind. It wasn't some coins, it was several bills. Before he exited the store, I gave him his change he left behind. Now, I could've kept the change, but that wouldn't be the right thing to do.
Not trying to come off as smug about it, I'm just sharing a true story.

Doing what's right isn't always easy, but it is the test of our true character.
We are told that there are days where we won't always get a reward, but no one warns us that others might hate us for what we do. Still, someone has to do the right thing. if not, things are destined to only get worse.I like to think that eventually, people will fully understand your actions. They might not understand right away, but by the time they do, they'll wish they could have been a nicer person to you. But then again, that might be the true test of friendship. Who's still got your back when no one else does? How strong should your standards be? No one can answer these questions for you. The answers come with experience.
One of the best lessons I think I've ever learned is to learn to dig a little deeper. There might be more to someone than what's on the surface. Try to find that. Be careful not to invade anyone's personal space, of course. You don't want to intrude too deeply, nor would you want to put yourself at risk. Still, if we can do our best to dig a little deeper and see people for who they truly are, then you'll find all the answers you need. You'll have an easier time connecting to those who are truly good people, you'll know who to be careful of, you'll know who has truly changed and who has truly stayed the same, etc.
...Am I reading too deep into this post? Am I completely off point?

Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well?
Is it already Thursday? Where the hay has this week gone? We're now so very close to Christmas!
Just one day of work for me this week, then some last minute vacation time to close out the year. Hopefully, I'm praying, life can start to return to some normality next year... please?
Had to deal with some very unpleasant interactions the other night. I'm trying very hard to step away from the likes of Twitter and mainstream social media in general. I've been fed up with its nonsense for a long time and I honestly don't know why I bother to maintain an account anymore. The days of constructive and civil discussion seem a distant memory.
Ah well, no sense dwelling on it. Smile and remember what's most important in life.
Any interesting stories out there?

I stick to more harmonious fandoms on Twitter. MLP is an obvious one, Queen has some great fans and Michael Jackson has the most amazing fanbase who are so kind to each other and will never tolerate anyone spreading lies about him. So I’ve had mostly good times on Twitter.
I’m sorry to hear it’s not going that well for you but like you say, remember the important things.

Okay, I think I've reasonably calmed down now. How is everyone else's Sunday?

One of the best final moments to a season I think I've witnessed in my 25 years of watching. I love this sport!

I think I've just found my official theme song.
"Fillies and Gentlecolts... it's time for a party. A Friday Party!"

Hey there, everyone! I hope this day finds you all well.
Ever have days where you feel as though something is weighing on you, but you can't quite understand what it is? I've been feeling kind of like that all day.
It happens, and I'm sure I'll be fine come tomorrow. Maybe it's just the time of year.
In the meantime, let's take a look at a G5 inspired Saffron!

Getting an email in work from customers expressing how you made their vacation memorable is one of the highlights of any week.

Wait, how is it only 20 days until Christmas Eve? How did this year go by so quickly?!

@Kyoshi Yeah, my family really enjoys Christmas lights. There's plenty of them all over the house now. Home always feel particularly cozy with their glow this time of year.
Although, you should really see what my neighbors have done to their home this year. We're afraid it's going to start attracting aircraft.
I'm glad you guys were able to get a tree up too. Hope it looks well.
@Sparklefan1234 Ah, if you look closely at that tree, you might spy a little Viking ship on there. I've already got some pretty wild decorations. My OC would be nothing new.
