    Yesterday was lit the candle of Hope, thus we mark the beginning of Advent.

    Though the world can oftentimes seem dark and unforgiving, hope is that little light which encourages us that better times are never too far away. Hope brings us faith for a brighter tomorrow, and keeps the chains of despair at bay.

    Hope makes me smile, and I hope it brings your smile too. :)

    Tonight was a good night. Food, family and the annual Late Late Toy Show... ahh, how they find these kids with the thickest of country accents. :Daydreaming:

    But now I'm tuckered out, and I still have one more day of work to get through. How I can't wait to freeze my toes off again tomorrow morning. :yeahno:

    I should really start bringing a hot water bottle to work.

      @Splashee Yeah. This time of year can be draining enough with the long, dark evenings and gloomy weather. But then throw in all the extra tension and stress going on in the world right now and it just feels like a real uphill climb sometimes, even though I know I shouldn't be letting it get to me.

    Hello Fillies and Gentlecolts! How is everyone's Sunday thus far? :BrightMacContent:

    Nearly at the end of work for me. It seems as though the city is getting getting very busy again for Winter. It almost feels like pre-covid times. I'm... not sure how I feel about that yet. :twismile:

    Despite it now being dark when I leave work, I do love seeing the city lights at this time. It carries a special sort of atmosphere, and tends to make me boot up my 'city at night' playlist.

    Just needs to be less cold. :sealed:
