A lot of people don't like neon colored ponies, but I feel like using the neon in the hair and tail is fine (I like neon and high contrast done well personally). Always room to experiment with hairstyles and such though. Overall, I'd say it's a pretty good starting point.

Marceline is awesome, great idea for a crossover with Flutterbat. Do you have any way to rotate the image? It would make it easier to see.

I agree with what most others have already said. I think the back would be better if it just said "BRONY ALERT" and removed the "Haters stay away" line. I also think the front would look better if all the text was removed completely because (I agree with Iris) it seems like you are asking people to challenge you. Not digging the pants at all, the design just looks weird. With those changes, I think they would be 20% cooler.

Well yeah, of course keep drawing! The one where your OC is taking a bath is really cute, even the photo itself is much higher quality than the others. That's kinda half the battle when you want to show people your art. The better quality you can get with taking photos of your art or scanning them will really make them look better automatically. It's all in the presentation.

Something that will help a lot for presentation is possibly trying to acquire a scanner or a better camera. You might try taking the photo in a better lit area (hard to take a good photo in a poorly lit room) and standing back more from your piece when you take the picture so your camera lens can focus properly. It could really help the quality.

Good luck making it into BABSCon. The request for Sombra is interesting like you said and definitely makes sense since there's not much of him out there. -
I think a lot of artists know they need to practice, they just don't know how to. For fun, you can just try drawing poses you like from the show. If you're doing it traditionally in real life and not on the computer, using a mirror to flip your drawing around can really help you see mistakes easier.

I draw ponies because it's fun. I'm excited for season 5 and would like to visit a con soon.
