    So I've been writing a fanfic about a Celestia VS Luna war with WW2 era weapons, and one of the main elements in it is a paratrooper found by a Lunar tank crew. However, I can't decide if he will be a Celestian soldier or a Lunar soldier. Making him a Celestian soldier and only revealing it at the end would add an interesting twist to the plot, but it would be harder to write it, as I need to find a reason for why he landed behind enemy lines and why the crew didn't realize he was actually an enemy. Writing him as a Lunar soldier would be more simple, but I think I would miss a great opportunity to show a more significant psychological development of that character. So, what should he be? Also, would the name Silver Streak be nice for him?

    That would also be cool. But I'm sure patrolling the Equestrian skies as Oberstleutnant would make me see pretty much everything that is to see.

    So, just went to Fimfiction, it was working fine 2 hours ago but now there's a DNS error everytime I go on it. Anybody else getting this?

The magic is gone, and as a direct consequence of this, they in fact use way more technology than the current canon. It does happen 25 years later, so there has been time for technology development. The pegasi can still fly though. It's not that much of an alternate universe, it's more like an alternate future, an alternate ending to S4.

    Well the problem is that in the fanfic, magic does not exist anymore and because of said incident, and because of that Equestria has gone to greed and shit. From what you suggest I think there's a little room for interpretation. So, any alternatives?

    So, in my fanfic which happens in a close future of the events of MLP S4, magic doesn't exist anymore because the use of the "Rainbow Power" by the Mane 6 has drained all the magic from Tree of Harmony, thus killing it and making it stop producing magic. Although there are other magic sources like the Crystal Heart, those are negligible compared to the tree and thus didn't change anything. Does this make sense?

    So, I had this random theory coming out of my mind. In "Friendship is Magic part 1", we see Celestia with her pink mane before Luna became evil, and it is generally accepted that young Sunbutt had a pink mane. 1000 years later, her mane is pink and blue. My theory is that this is due to the fact that she had to take on a new responsibility, and her mane kind of symbolized that. What's pink? The sunrise is pink. What's blue? Twilight is a kind of blue that is similar to Celestia's mane. What if she got that additional color because now she had to bring sunrise and twilight instead of only the pink sunrise?

    Considering the bigotry and ignorance in his reaction and telling us to pay only 3000$ to get FimFic back when he stopped the DDoS, thinking it would only wear off when he wanted it to, I think he didn't even know what an IP adress is.

    I can't wait till the feds come knocking up on that poor child's door, and when he pisses his pants and says "BUT IT WUZNT MEEEEEEEE WY U DO DISS COPPPPSSSS" and saying he's sorry, he'll never do it again, and when cops sentence him for a good 10 years of prison.

    Considering he and other of his supporters are asking for ransoms to get a site back by a DDoS attack he already claimed to have done and stopped during a few hours, giving time to fimfic's admins to build up defenses, I think he's not crazy, but just extremely stupid and ignorant about how the internet works. And for the kek stuff, kek means lol for a certain group in world of warcraft. Fimfic is up again, completely fine.

What has the internet come to...     Yeah, that was a joke. My guess is either that guy is trolling like a master, or just a 15 years old just like me but who didn't follow reason and logic, but rather just typed "1337 h4x pr0gr4m" in Google and got LOIC, and is going to enjoy his other 15 years in jail for DDoSing an innocent webiste. You should read the comments on the post, they are pretty hilarious actually. And dat 29 followers tho

    Look ma, I took down a minor fanfiction website, claimed it high and loud to everyone and now I'm on the news! It's just that I will have 4chan, the bronies and the entire internet hating me and wanting to kill me and maybe some police going after me for a DDoS attack, but it was worth it! I GOT MY FRIGGIN 15 MINUTES OF FAME INSTEAD OF DOING LIKE EVERYONE AND GETTING THEIR 2 YEARS OF FAME111!!111!!! Seriously, now some people over 4chan are actually getting together. Even if it's only 4 people, it's so beautiful seeing 4chan unite together.

    Considering the level of close-mindedness of the guy who claimed the hack, his ignorance of anything (even basic stuff) related to bronies and his level of stupidity which let him publicly claim that he has taken down a website by DDoS and expose himself to all the people who wrote stories on the website, 4chan and all the other raging bronies, I think he probably used LOIC. And the only thing he's right about is this: "After taking down #FimFiction http://www.fimfiction.net/ I guess the #WarOnBronies has started again." -Keksec Oh yes it is you little fucker, preapre for the biggest shitstorm of angry bronies that no one will ever see.

    Not Christian, but after reading all those replies, I would like to say that I'm very proud of the believers we have here. Instead of trying to butter it on other people's faces and spread it everywhere, you rely on love and compassion to care about others, and that's what makes me think the Christians and other people of other faith in this forum are exemples of how we should really behave socially.
