    So, which tank is the best that was ever built? You can choose any tank from any era you like, from the Leonardo da Vinci's wooden prototype to the new M1A3 MBT. The tanks must be real ones that have been build or at least designed on paper. This means no fictional or video game tanks.

    Oh, misread the post. But really, if you go way more in depth, you forget it's basically one giant ad for Hasbro's MLP toys. If Faust didn't join the team, we would still see the stereotyped crap that is G1, G2 and G3. If you want more realism, you should go to the fanfics' side, but the show will sadly stay an unrealistic children's one, especially after Faust left. We've already seen what they done with EQG, so we're just lucky the canon MLP isn't that way.

    I'm really not going to sugar coat it, but this looks horrible. But don't worry, I will give you some tips to make you better. First off, don't use full saturation colors. They just hurt eyes and don't go well with any other color. Think of it: is any object (except void, which is technically nothing) completely black in real life? Probably not. Tone the intensity down a bit. Second, the ear is way too oversized compared to the head. It's normally 1/3 the length of the head and at most 1 time its height, but generally not more. You should scale it down a bit. Last, the eyes. They look, lifeless. The blurriness of the eyes make this picture look almost... creepy. Try to define the iris and the cornea better, and make the white reflection circles more apparent, and it will give you a more lively appearance for your drawings. Also, the subreddit they're on is full of good artists and criticizers. They can give you great tips on how to improve your art. You should post there.

    Still it's basically the same animation, the same style, only in a different setting. I should't be called G5, rather G4 origins or something like that. For it to be G5, it would probably need to take place in a whole new world with nothing in common with Celestia's Equestria and maybe even have a new art style.

    Well you see, this is the problem. You know what happens when you turn it up a notch? Symphony of Steel happens. It's my fanfic, but it gives you an idea of how Equestria would be with realistic racism, large scale greed, realistic economy, territorial envy, world wars &c. &c. &c., and it's not the sweetest thing ever to read. I'm ok with a more realistic MLP and would love the idea, but you have to remember that the show is just a big advertisement for Hasbro's toys. It seems like a lot of people forgot it. If you want more realism, fanfics are the way to go.

We were fighting here in Canterlot for over a week now. Maybe more. I really can't tell since I've lost track of time... I still remember very well the scene though. We were fighting in a narrow street, against the hordes of soldiers and vehicles the Sunbutts were throwing at us. But we weren't going to flinch that easily. They wouldn't either. The commander was calm, as always, just giving orders like a clockwork machine. I already knew him for two years, but that attitude still scared me as much as the first day..." So, how does it sound?

    Even then nothing proves that the ages are the same for the mane 6 and humane 6. It's canon in the sense that it happened i can agree with that, but even Hasbro never mentioned that the mane 6 were actually teenagers. If they were, I find it hard that teenagers are already managing farms and have a full time job making clothes at a fashion boutique they own themselves.

    Then you better bring it up instead of saying "somebody mentioned it" Nothing at all shows that the EQG world is even a little bit linked to the show. The two universes seem to have absolutely no link between each other. They do have the same characters, but humans, more girly, more Mary Sue, &c. &c. &c. Hell, even my fanfic alternate timeline has more links to the show than EQG.

    From my estimates, the number of candles could be anywhere from 21 (what we see here) to 32 (if we take that the candles on the edges are the last one we see here, and there are still others on the back side). The numbers I've heard were mostly 23, so I took that answer. They really want to break our canon evidences don't they... Even then, RD is probably not a teenager as she's a part time weather pony, and even thought she's sometimes acting childish, that job does require discipline and responsibility. She probably isn't over 35 either as she competed in a continent wide equivalent of the Olympic games and is an amateur flyer and possible Wonderbolt trainee, which requires a lot of energy that a 35-40 year old probably wouldn't have. That would center her age between 19-20 and 30 years old.

    1) She still has advanced enough studies. Bachelor was only a guess, as our CEGEP here (2 years of professional or pre-university formation) is mainly to learn a job, and to get into a subject as deep as Twilight does, it would suggest her going to some kind of university. 2) I said small farm, not a big farm like Sweet Apple Acres. Maybe just a small chicken coop for her own use. Even if it isn't a small farm and she doesn't get income from selling pets, she is still experienced enough with them, which takes a fair amount of time 4) Good point for the family reunion, but she still makes a considerable amount of administrative decision for Sweet Apple Acres, and it looks a little like she's the head of the family.

    Horses have an approximate lifespan of 20 years, so they would be something like 4-5 years in real ages if they were horses. But again. Sweetie Belle already had her 5th birthday, there were 23 candles on RD's cake. Stuff that points towards ponies using our human ages.

    1)Twilight: At least the equivalent of a bachelor degree, master at magic, fully pledged princess, &c. &c. &c. 2)Fluttershy: Probably Ponyville's main pet seller, has a small farm of her own, needs to take care of at least a dozen of animals 3)Pinkie: Part time worker at Sugarcube Corner, part time Party organizer for anypony who needs it 4) AJ: takes care of all the farm's business, sets up family reunions, &c. &c. &c. APB also works there, but she's more of a part time helper. It's like helping your parents do their chores: You're not a janitor, but you do it. Well, looking at her sill level with magic and deep understanding of Equestrian history, we can imply that she made pushed enough studies in at least one of those sectors. Besides, she's also Celestia'a personal student. Being the apprentice of the princess that raises the sun and is was the most powerful magic wielder in all the kingdom is something.

    Nothing shows that EQG ages are canon. The EQG universe is completely separate from the canon MLP universe, and the highschool setting was probably for the highschool melodrama Hasbro thought would get them so much money. Even if the ages are canon, why does Twilight have at least the equivalent of a bachelor diploma? Why does Rarity already have her own business? Why is AJ already in charge of the farm? They did age. 1 year or two isn't really that apparent you know...

    Well there's this really good blog on it:https://mlpforums.com/blog/268/entry-5526-how-old-are-the-mane-6/ The characters do not change according to your headcanon, but according to time. It's cannon that at least one year has passed by with the Winter Wrap up and season 3 premiere episodes. They could be somewhere around 8 years old, but their behavior would point them out more at something like 10, maybe 12 years old.

    No. RD can fly faster than most ponies, with or without rainbows. The rainbows are related to what made her stand out of the pack: her sonic rainboom. If she didn't perform it, she would probably fly as fast as most competitor pegasi. In no case does changing a color affect an object's maximum velocity.

    Not really an episode, but EQG1. Bring us a consistent story that we liked in MLP, and don't use background characters as main characters and plot devices at the same time.

    I know I should choose AJ if I want maximum survival chances, but I'm feeling more like choosing Rarity. It would just be fun seeing her whine on the island, and cute.

    Thanks a lot @Greppertas and @Ragland Tiger for the criticism. And yeah, for crushing dead ponies, this story was never meant to be unviolent. I've decided to change the structure a little bit. Instead of big chunks of paragraphs, there will be a small entry from one of the main character's diary to sum up the situation. What do you guys think of that?

    So, hi guys! It's been a while since I've written anything long, and so I've decided to completely rewrite one of my fanfics after receiving some opinions of it . So, I have here in the attached files the draft of the story so far, which is set in an alternate no magic timeline 25 years after the events of S4. I really like writing, but without any feedback of any kind, I really can't get better, or even continue on a story. So, could you guys here give me some criticism on my style and all?
