As you know, I am technically a mystical creature to all of you. My kind doesn't stray too far from our home and our home isn't easily accessed. Few ponies have made the journey but not many. Headmaster Greyhoof was the first pony that I met as a young one. I was so fascinated by him and his strange magic that I wanted to eventually travel and work among the ponies. Meeting him inspired me to learn about any and all creatures that walk Equestria and even those who haven't been here for a very long time." Professor Autumn pranced around a bit, she was excited and it was clear to the students as well, most of them had a smile on their muzzle. That only made Autumn even more excited and happy. She started to rise into the air as she moved about, she didn't want to show the students that part of her for another few days, but now was as good as any other time. "Oh dear, I was hoping to show you this a bit later in the class but oh well. Just like you ponies, reindeer also have the power to do things. We can manipulate the elements and use magic. We have been able to do this for centuries, before even ponies knew about magic." Autumn landed and continued her lecture. Meanwhile ...... @@Script Dangles, @@reader8363, Professor Stardust was walking the halls as she peered into a classroom, she noticed a newer professor getting his things in order. She walked in and started admiring his posters around his classroom. A lot of them were of famous writers throughout history but others were of ponies on ice skates. She didn't recognize the team, must have been a minor league or a school team she thought. "Hello, my name is Stardust, I am the professor of Astronomy/Astrology. I couldn't help but notice all of your pictures. I am glad I'm not the only one who likes to decorate their classroom. I saw Professor Mirror's classroom and it was quite dull." She turned to the stallion with a smile. She then noticed another stallion at the door, "Oh, Professor Feeder, you must of had the same idea as me, meeting the new professors."

That's kinda how I was playing it. Not speaking to her to imply a response. Just more along the lines of she pretty much already knew what she needed to do and just nodding or describing it would get the job done. Although... Seeing as Rainbow dash is Winter's auntie and she is here in the Griffon kingdom we should be finding the element of loyalty right? Should we drag it out until Lilith can be with us once again or...? Maybe a different element? Possibly two here on the island? And that will give Lilith the chance to be here.

"Oooh, very interesting, I have heard of these spirits, but I have never seen one. Wow, she seems so content, this is truly fascinating." Autumn kept turning her head trying to get a better look at the spirit. She was so intrigued, "I...I will do some research and we will talk again, this is just so incredible." She snapped out of her almost trance like stare, and she noticed that the class was almost there. "Well, shall we begin students? My name is Professor Autumn, and yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, I am a Reindeer. Now, with that out of the way I am going to pass out your books. Please do not open them yet. First we are going to discuss what type of mystical creatures you are familiar with, this will give me an idea about where we should start." She looked around at the students, most of them were wide eyed and staring. She was used to it by now. She noticed a couple of students made sure to sit next to the unicorn she was just talking with. It was nice to see that students could make friends so quickly.

"Ah, the professor, she's a tricky one. It's always hard being new at the school isn't it? New classes, new friends, new creatures." Autumn gave her a bit of a wink. "Professor Autumn at your service. What can I help you with?" She could see just a tad bit of red rush into the mares cheeks. Autumn gave her a gentle smile.

Autumn saw her new class starting to emerge from the castle. She saw a particularly determined unicorn trotting very quickly in the direction of the cart that was still quite largely filled with books. "Is there something I can help you with lovely?" Autumn was fairly certain that the unicorn was looking for a proper pony professor by the look she gave her.

I think that would be a great fit!

@, @@Randimaxis, Stardust felt Aria's tail flick around her neck and drag down her body. She tried to straighten her mane and stood up to follow her to the cottage. "I know, I just want you to want it as much as I do. I know that you have been having a rough time, maybe I should have just left the lot at the gate when I saw them. Then it could still just be you and me. I don't know." She took a few deep breaths and then she nudged into Aria giving her a little bump on the shoulder. She cracked a smile and then did it again, this time giggling. She knew how much this irritated Aria and she knew that she would return the nudge but Star would end up on the ground and both of them would laugh and laugh. One day, one day you will know. One day I will have the courage to tell you. One day I hope you will open up and let me in. It might not be today, but hopefully one day. Stardust finally managed to get to the cottage, mostly in tact. She looked to Harcourt with a mane full of twigs and leaves, she could see his muzzle and eyebrows wrinkle into an awkward smile. She tried to quickly make herself presentable and then asked if he could call the others, it was time to go to work.

So I have a feeling that Mr. Culpepper playing Professor Jack Crystal isn't going to be with us anymore. I messaged him but still no response. I think it has been long enough, so I will be taking off his name and putting up the position for biology again. On another note, ~The Snowy Wolf~ is going to be temporary leaving us, during that time I am going to be playing Vinyl for her so her character stays in the loop as it were. She will get back to us as soon as she can.

Professor Autumn looked to Vinyl, and she stated to chuckle. "I told those fourth years to quit telling you young ones this trick. A simple fix is all my dear, just a few taps...and....there we are. Good as new, now don't forget to rub the spine before unstrapping it, it will all be better now." She walked back to the middle of the class. "Now, we didn't have a whole lot of time today with all the introductions and such, but you will have a small homework assignment, to get you in the swing of things. Please read the book and tomorrow I want you all to be able to tell me about the lifespan of a Phoenix from birth to 'death' and what happens after that. You might be surprised, I want one scroll explaining it, and we will discuss during class." She waved to the students and they started to head back to the castle. "See you all tomorrow morning!" The rest bell rang, indicating that the students needed to be heading to their third class. This class marked the middle of the day, after the third class the students would be heading off to lunch. They would have two more classes before dinner. An announcement came over the speakers. "Attention students, that was the warning bell, you get a small break between your second and third classes. Gives you a bit of time to stretch and gather yourselves. I am hoping that everyone is settling in nicely, I will see you all in the dining hall after your third class for a delicious lunch!" First years had their class outside with Professor Autumn, mythological creatures. Professor Stardust and Professor Dangles had third period free, and so did Professor Mirror.

This made me giggle! It was brilliant! I am so glad that everyone is posting! I will be posting shortly.

I know a bit of French, took it in high school but I still want to learn more. I know a smidgen of Spanish my mother in law refuses to speak English. Bleh. I am learning more French and I am learning American Sign Language.

@, Aria just makes me want to tickle her until she can't handle it anymore. Lol. Stardust wants so badly to open up to her but she is waiting for that tiny moment for Aria to trust her enough. Star trusts her with her life, but she doesn't remember what happened. But she knows that whatever did happen is eating away at Aria and she just wants her to let it all out. Or at least break that wall she has been building. So that Star can finally help. I'm so tickling her in a post to come lol. Just be ready!

After reading your post I am really glad to read that 'Harcourt' is okay with Star taking some of the lead. After they 'lost' Trivy I could tell that Harcourt was not quite ready to do much leading because he was still mourning. I figured it could be a team effort like he had said to Psych and Lilith while still on the boat. I really didn't mean to 'lead', I was worried I was stepping on hooves (giggle) when I had Star kinda step up and start giving orders. But if you are okay with it then I shall do my best and work with Harcourt as we continue.

Fantastic, the first years are in the Magic class right now, you can introduce yourself to the other first years whenever you are ready. The first post has everyone who is a first year, they will all be in the same class right now. Also I believe that your OC would best fit in the Changling house.

@ Listening to Aria, Stardust's heart sank. She so desperately wanted her to feel needed. To feel as important as Stardust knew she was. She just wished she could show her how deeply she cared for her, to let her know that she was her whole world. She longed for Aria to be happy, she tried so much, but with every attempt she felt only a tiny bit of acceptance. It was almost like Aria was shameful of herself. She was so hard on herself, all Stardust wanted to do was just hold her until all of her hurt went away, she wished she could just take all of the pain away. She felt helpless being so close to her, yet not knowing what she was going through, not being able to fix it. "Aria, you are such an important part of this puzzle we are putting together. You need to remember that, if I didn't have you, I wouldn't have anything. You put me back together, don't you remember? If I didn't have you, I would be lost. And I promise, we will get back to our ship, we will have nights of star gazing and your sweet music filling the air. And don't worry, the ship will need repairs, you will have your chance to get your hooves dirty. We will go anywhere our hearts desire. But I can't do this without you." Stardust was quiet, her head was down, tears were starting to fill her eyes, she was trying to hide her sobs. She let out a long sigh and looked up. "The sun is almost halfway down, we should go meet up with the group." She gave Aria a sad smile, she knew that she would perk up before too long, it just stung a little bit.

"Rest for now, we have a few hours before sunset. We will gather after the sun is half way beyond the horizon." She continued walking with Aria. The two had much to discuss and she knew that wouldn't happen unless they were alone. "I can tell Harcourt is having a hard time with your silence. But I have a feeling it will pass. He is wise for his years but he is not very trusting. You have to be honest with him, and you have. Maybe once we get on our way he will see that your honesty goes beyond just words." The two mares continued their discussions and relaxed in the rays of the setting sun.

I like her ability to change her personality to survive. I think she would be a great addition. Would you like to be a student or a professor?
