Rebuttal for your examples. for your 1 and 2... that post is complete rubbish. All they are going on about is how in the PONY world there are others that come in and yes, some of them are evil and trying to take over the pony race! However! after dealing with them and beginning to understand them like Discord they grow to care for them, which they have proven can be hard. But what is even harder to believe is that a pony like Starlight would want to take over the pony race even though she is a pony herself. Being bad or good has nothing to do with race or discrimination it comes down to greed. Sombra was a pony, he wanted complete control, that is because of greed. Discord was not necessarily evil, he just liked to mess things up because he is the spirit of chaos. He liked things his way but over time grew to be a very close member of the pony family. Zacora was feared because she was a little different, but many people are scared of strange and different. If she had moved into ponyville instead of lived in the Everfree forest she would have probably been welcomed with open arms. HOWEVER because she lives in the Everfree forest which has always feared the ponies of ponyville they were not too sure about her. They didn't know who or what type of pony she was. NONE of it is discrimination or racism, it is based off of fear, simple, and they learned along the way to overcome that fear and to embrace others who are different. As for Gilda, she was rude right off the bat, but later on we learn why. It was not because she was evil but because of what her race had been through. Dragons, simple, they breath fire, they fly, they have claws, and they horde all of the treasure and jewels. Look at what happened to Spike when he started to receive gifts for his birthday, he grew into an out of control dragon because he went with his primal instincts. That is like saying dogs are bad because they used to be wild wolves, if we fed that wild instinct then any dog would revert to that and it would be dangerous. number 3, you think that just because a school can't afford a new playground that they can't feed the homeless and therefore they are all in poverty? -Look at Ponyville, there are NO homeless ponies, even in Manehatten there are no homeless ponies. -School budgets even in real life don't have the funds to get new text books let alone new playground equipment. That all comes down to donations or other funds that the school can get through having car washes, food drives, etc. number 4, you think that Starlight's village and Sombra's reign had concentration camps huh? -Starlight's village, this was a place where ponies chose to go, they had lost hope and thought that this would be a better way to deal with it. Sombra's reign, he enslaved the ponies to work for him, they lost hope as well once their heart thingy was missing. They thought that Sombra was their king, they knew no different. -you need to look up what a concentration camp really is, because this was not it at all, they might have been confused and not understand what was happening while it was going on, but they were still housed, fed, and had options, as small as they were, they had families and other things. -They were not starving, dying in the streets or watching their loved ones die. They were under a spell that made them think that this is what life was like. number 5, you think that Trixie and Starlight were torturers?? Really... Trixie???? -Starlight was NOT torturing the ponies, read what I posted under number 4 again if you must. -Trixie... was humiliated the first time she came around, she was not torturing the ponies the second time around. She was obsessed with being a better unicorn than Twilight, comes down to power once again. number 6, Sombra was murdered huh? -Cuz from what I took away from that episode was that he was not even back to full power and was still smoke? something like that. He had already been banished, and when he finally came to his full form he was engulfed in LOVE, his evil magic and evil mind was surrounded by love... so sure go ahead say he was murdered. he was killed by LOVE. We don't know what happened to him other than the fact you can see his horn cover fling across the screen. He might have been banished and his horn cover might have flown off, he could have been reborn as a colt or something. We simply do NOT know what happened to him, everyone always assumes that he dies, we don't know that. number 7, tyranny, have you looked up that definition as well? -Sombra was a coward and fed off of the love of the Crystal Ponies. He was a dictator, plane and simple, took it by force. -Celestia, seriously???? So back in the day when kings and queens ruled the lands was that tyranny? Berry Punch is hardly even seen in any episodes, and the parts that I have seen there is no indication that she is a lush. so... once again the proof is no where to be found. -Tree Hugger is not a drug addict. If she were, there would be signs of it, bloodshot eyes, not being able to have coherent conversations and being hungry... obviously you were talking about marijuana because of her slow speaking and her outlook on life. Just because she is a bit different and cares about the environment and all things natural does not mean she is a drug addict... And finally number 11. You think that Sombra's reign over the crystal ponies was genocide. Look at the definition of genocide. Genocide: the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation No ponies were killed under his reign, he made them work, he did not just take over and then mass kill everypony. First I would like to see your proof, with links and descriptions for each thing you listed. Second, if there is any of that in the show it is minutiae and there is a lesson to be learned from it. Obviously. ... Third... there are so many other cartoons out there that are less strict than the writers of MLP: FiM some cartoons get away with so much more than that and it is still rated G.

and the literal translation of Mi Amore Cadenza is "I love Cadence" lol so she is technically Princess I love Cadence! haha. I guess hence the heart shaped cutie make and her ability to spread love. But I agree with you, Prince Shining Armor is just a bit too formal. He is probably like Twilight where she doesn't care for formalities especially when it comes to her being called Princess.
