  5. The name came from a molecule that's produced during pyrolysis of the cellulose found in wood, Xylosan. I put in an i because I thought it would sound cooler. Unfortunately people would butcher the pronunciation of my name but who cares I like it.
  6. Nope, instead they fill your head with trivial nonsense like "what makes plants green" and the answer is chlorophyll. Why would I need to know that? Does it help me when I'm doing my tax refunds? No. However they're certain subjects that do come in handy when you're pursing a certain profession. Like geometry is great for people becoming drafters and designers, but not so much for a biologist. In my opinon 50% of what you learn in school will rarely become useful when you're on your own. It's a shame really, that's why you seek older minds from the earlier generations. Now that's knowledge that's worth the investment of your time.
  7. Watch a movie, play with my dogs, take them out for a walk, go to the gym with friends, play a video game, read a book, usually something I enjoy when I have time to waste.

  19. Song of the Month: Housewives - Bas (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5S9JKRmC20) Bonjour tout le monde, I'm back to report what I did this month and sadly nothing interesting really happened. Probably because I spend most of my time at school or working. I didn't do much for Valentine's Day since I don't have a significant other and I just find Valentine's Day pretty stupid. It's mainly a day were fools buy girls box of chocolates, cards, teddy bears, and other such nonsense, in short Valentine's Day is just not for me. However what I have been doing is messing around with my diet and I've just been experimenting with different diets. The current one I'm doing is called "Flexible Dieting", it's a diet the author of Iron & Tweed put together so he could stay lean while eating like a fat hog, it's based around getting enough calories and hitting the right macros based off of his height and weight (link: http://ironandtweed.com/flexible-dieting-stay-lean-plus-7-days-meals).My old diet was eating a 1 1/2 pound steak and 4 scrambled eggs twice a day and I did stay lean but my cholesterol levels went way the fuck up, since this diet was way to unhealthy for me I decided to try something else and I believe this is a diet that is worth trying. It begins with you having to track your calories and macros using an app called MyFitnessPal, since I stand 6'4" and weighing around 193 (at the time) pounds my average calorie intake is around 3,500 calories per day and I set my macros for a high fat/high protein intake while having a somewhat moderate carb intake since you need this nutrient for energy. I usually make my own meals but I like to follow most if not all of Nate's meals, my favorite being oatmeal with whey protein and peanut butter every morning, that shit is just delicious and I highly enjoy it with a cup of coffee. Also not to mention my favorite benefit of this diet is I get a cheat day (which is usually on a Saturday) and pig out on whatever I can get my hands on. Either it being a whole apple pie with vanilla ice cream or a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a shake, though I still try to keep a moderate track of what I eat as not to go overboard. I've been using this diet since the beginning of this month and still following my usual workout regime, I've got to say that I have been noticing a change in my physique during mid-February, my body started to become a bit more lean that with last month's diet. I recently had a physical 3 days ago and they weighed me and checked my blood, my triglycerides went from 412 to 387 and I lost 4 pounds! It's unbelievable how my cholesterol levels went down during the 28 days of following this diet and not to mention I also lost 4 pounds during that period. With this diet I have noticed a greater spike in energy while following this diet and combine that with a high calorie intake I believe that my body will become a lean mean machine in no time. In conclusion I absolutely adore this diet and I strongly believe that anyone trying get/stay lean this is the diet for you. This has been your man Xylo and on a closing note I just want to say thank everyone who red this blog post. I plan to make a another blog called the "The Xylo Lifestyle" (pretty creative isn't it? :/). It's usually where I post about bodybuilding, diet, supplements, motivation, life, etc. It's usually about how I live my life and I decided to share my useless knowledge on how I live my life day by day. So until then I hope to post again to you all next month or soon, ciao.
  20. I hope you'll have your inhaler handy while working out, since your muscles need the oxygen during weightlifting there's a lot of breathing involved but I bet you knew that already.
  21. 4% Bodyfat? I don't think that's right. You should add lunges to that routine makes for some good legs. I don't like cardio at all seems like a waste of time honestly. For cardio I just HIT Conditioning does it's job in terms of cardio. You should do barbell presses on a smith machine for a month. This exercise will turn any wimpy/bird chest into a built championship chest. For arms you can try tricep extensions, abundance curls, and baseball curls. These are great exercises for building strong biceps and arms.
  22. Squat Jumps make for some killer calves and quads. I believe he was near the tracks.
  23. It was all a dream I used to read word up magazines.
