I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it wasn't real good story-wise. The way the Royal Family and Elements of Harmony were treated here was poorly done, especially after the Royal Family's heroics in the premiere.

As for watching it in HD, I'll save that for after all of the reviews, the screenshots, and the transcripts are done.

I find it wholly plausible, and I legitimately enjoy that the royals & friends were taken away offscreen (as to me it makes them feel less superhuman), but it was totally just an excuse to have those four in the lead role. I was fine with it.

Be that as it may, it still does not make up for the fact I had to bear seeing Celestia in a cocoon again, and this time with the Mane Six and the rest of the Royal Family as well. And Chrysalis when she revealed herself from being hidden by the cocoons of the Royal Family? That was not something I wanted to see...especially in HD.
