You need to be able to do an elevator pitch. Start with "Who here likes rhymes?"

Elevator Pitch? As in keeping your audience in a small room where your blocking the only exit? I like the way you think, Good Sir!

That's actually what they call a pitch that you have to come up with on the way to the meeting. You have from the time the elevator ride starts and ends to think of a proper way to connect with your audience at that meeting. It isn't the weirdest phrase either. The last shot of the day in film is known as the "Martini shot" because the next shot you'll take is out of a glass. True story.

See? That's exactly why I tend to avoid big event thingies. I don' wanna have to wade through some throng of people where I gotta bump shoulders. I'm kinda a more one-on-one fellow, I'd go if I was to meet up a friend there but that's a whole nother can of worms.

Usually local con's are much smaller.

Huge ones like BronyCon are somewhere like 10k people from what I understand, those can get packed.

Those are the ones I usually enjoy, just disappearing into a crowd.

But when it's people pressing in around you, yeah that's freaky.

Like I said, local con's outside of major cities are usually much smaller.

For instance, where I am we have loooaaads of con's all year 'round for bunches of different things.

Biggest of which I think is Nekocon, which is usually something like 5k people.

I hear you, Kyoshi. I have interests, there's two shows that mean the world to me (MLP being one of them) but I feel I haven't touched them in, like, years. Course, having a concept of time or something to do with said time would probably help the monotony. But... that would... take effort & energy I seem to lack currently.
