    You do this an awful lot don't you? Mine - this morning connected up an HDMI audio link for the first time for laptop to stereo. It's noticably better quality than the Bluetooth I was using, but which isn't horrible.

    Fried mushrooms on toast, followed by ....... something else ..... - . Oh right yeah mini apple & blackcurrant pies with ice cream (which has become a habit! )

    Cooler, there's a weather warning for wind today and tomorrow, occasional sunny spells, heavy rain expected for tomorrow afternoon. Currently 12° C, wind SSW gusting 15.

    More computer backups. I'd forgotten Windows 10 will save / open tar files but only as a DOS command.

    Potato gratin with sausages & steamed carrots & parsnips, tea ..... - . Evening was a huge cheese lettuce tomato & raw onion sandwich on sourdough bread, more tea (no pix)
