    That looks more like what we would call a pork pie, which is primarily meat (pork). English minced pies became a desert, having mixed dried ftuits filling and spices, so a sweet. But they did used to be meat.

    We're now getting Storm Claudia with torrential rain and northeast wind gusting 45+ mph. Heavy rain for the next 12 hours.

    Shop-bought bacon & scrambled egg sandwich, then two (also shop-bought, from same supermarket) minced pies (no pix). The sandwich was excellent must be said.

    Made coffee and drank it, washed dishes, then washed myself, hung up a free calendar that came in the mail for next year, now I'm here.

    Reheated take-out chicken garlic balti bhuna curry on pilau rice & sweet potato fries, I added a few freshwater prawns in mayonnaise to make it go further, plus the end of a wholemeal loaf with margerine, tea ....... -
