    Damn that gives me an idea – it is autumn, so about time I started making stews ..... . Line of unrelated context demarcation. So seems like BT mail has started blocking norifications from this site, after having done it for years with no issue(?) – I've changed it to gmail, which has proved the notifications are being sent. So think I'm going to leave it at that.

    Well completely contrary to the forecast, which says (and still says) thick cloud, the sun is shining ... 14° C, dry, north wind 4 – 8 mph, changing to ENE later.

    Grey, dull, dark, no wind, damp, mizzle, looks like no change going into the end of the week, archetypal English autumn, kind of weather for hibernating. Or fireworks parties. 14° C, north wind 7 mph, 'overcast' (dark cloud). UV = 2 (but HOW??)
