Cold in Australia?
Try it here it's flippin' baking.....
But not wishing I was in Australia, yet.
Come winter I'll be moaning about the cold.
Today, happy that the BSA Bamtam, after 5.5 years of being in pieces, started third kick - nobody was more impressed than me
Finally getting the Bantam finished and out of the conservatory, it's been in there since January 2020. Conservatory now looks very empty, and it feels weird.
Scorchio. But not like yesterday's stupid bonkers scorchio, today is just 'normal' scorchio. Still flippin' hot tho.
Now, at 16:30, 22° C, east northeast wind gusting 23 mph, UV = very high, pollen = high.
Not had this for seems like years (I'm exaggerating) so fish fingers, potato mash & mixed vegetables - peas, grean beans, carrot, sweetcorn - with ketchup...
-
Using up leftovers – potato gratin, half of a jacket potato, baked beans, a third of a pork pie, a side salad of lettuce, tomato & raw onion, mayonnaise.....
-
Not true!
I also and as well as are thinking about what to eat next...
I've had that a bit as well. 'I'm not asking a question, I'm just telling what I'm doing.'
I know what you mean. Can't make any sudden movements.
One of the hottest days again today so am coping with the heat. Not too bad at the moment, but must avoid any strenuous activity at all costs!
Jacket potato (potato baked with skin on) with prawns & mayonnaise filling, with coleslaw & a side salad, & tea, at the Rock Foundation Cafe in Caistor, Lincolnshire. (no pix)
And the answer is, yes buying train tickets could be slightly cheaper than buying gas. Also get to go through London Kings Cross and Paddington, and use the Underground, which should be interesting.
I hate that when it happens.
Me: fulfilled, I guess is applicable here – have reassembled the BSA Bantam for hopefully the final time.
But will it actually work.....
Has been a loooong journey to get to here (5 years!)
