    Wow! Just started Discworld book #12, Witches Abroad. Also rereading a sci-fi paperback from 1966, The Last Refuge. In a dystopian future, after a nuclear war, and under the pretext of being rehoused, a writer finds himself incarcerated in a remedial facility, called "Block Y", because of his previous political views which are now unpopular with the new dictatorship, referred to only as "The Committee". It doesn't end well if memory serves..

    Now on Discworld "Reaper Man" Also an old paperback "The Evil Of Time" a romance I picked by mistake but actually quite interesting so far.

    Have arrived at The Cholmondeley Arms Cheshire (by Ural power!) and the Cholmondeley Best beer is EXCELLENT 


    Soon to get a fish finger sandwich.

    So off to the dentist for an emergency appointment. (While U wait)

    X-ray perfect. Nuffin' wrong with 'em. He reckons it's a gum infection. Oh great. :angry:

    So now I am on a course of pills and mouth wash.


    But anyway the good news is teeth aren't rotten or fillings falling out. Which is what I was mostly concerned about.
