Magloria was more than pleased that she was able to distract Operata by snagging his legs with the shards. At least she knew that she was capable of doing that. Of course, he is a pony just like her. Every pony has faults and weaknesses that she could exploit. Magloria was no exception to this but the difference here was that she were on her home turf. Close to her magic supply, in the ideal environment for her, and that's not even considering the amount of combat experience she had.
The claw beams had managed to slice away a bit of her tail as she had ducked. However that was of little concern to what had happened next. Right upon feeling the force of the voice coming towards her she quickly raised a good deal of of ice from the ground with her magic to block the majority of it. Although with the way it had been positioned the force of the voice was able to knock her back a good ways up the hill. It seems she was using his attacks to fuel her own tactics. However the ice had also shattered all in front of her and was blasted back as well, making it harder for them to see her through the snow filled air.
A few of the shards had impacted her fur and left some cuts. But that wasn't something she were a stranger to. Besides, when it was cold out the blood would clot up faster due to the cold. Though they couldn't see it but she was grinning wildly at her position. Not only did she have the higher ground but she had the advantage due to them currently being within the snow filled air. Quickly she forced herself up and dashed off to the right to avoid them predicting her movements. Magloria had quickly surged her magic. This was the most amount that she had performed in her draining, draining from 4 of her captured unicorns to fuel her next attack.
Her horn swirled with multicolored magic. It wasn't only blue this time, but it also combined varying degrees of other types of magic. The beam swirled into a triple helix of blue, green, and white. The 3 different parts had spun off into the air rapidly before splitting off and attacking the lot of them from 3 different angles. The blue one had struck squarely in front of them and exploded in a similar manner as before, kicking up even more snow in the air. The white and the green ones had attacked from other side. The white one was similar to the blue one although the crystal shards if they had managed to ensnare anyone would be slightly harder to deal with, while the green one was just a less powerful version of the blue one.
The attacks themselves individually weren't all that impressive, but the amount of them and how she had planned it out and used her terrain for the advantage was quite something. She could do this all day on her own turf. The question was - How long could they withstand?
