    New!

Hi, welcome, and remember life is always more fun with a party cannon.
  2. I agree it's an interesting theory. Have you done much reading on trait theory personality psychology? It might help to expand and build on this.
  3. Thanks for following me.

  5. Umm... Luna or the Shadow Bolts? Maybe I guess.
  6. It depends on a few factors. My current mood, who the people are, the general atmosphere of the place, and my pain levels. I have chronic pain, and sometimes I can only smile and be nice for so long. I don't like being a bee with a nasty itch to others with very little reason.
  7. My roommate is a fan. I will watch when Asuka is on.
  8. If Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich became an item Equestria would never be the same again. Her one pony band, his accordion, dual party cannons...
  9. Do Chex count as dry if they are covered in a mixture of chocolate and peanut butter then dusted in powdered sugar? @Frostgage, you can never be too serious about breakfast.
  10. Fruit Loops are yummy dry, but usually not for breakfast. More for a snack. They are also tasty on vanilla ice cream.
  11. There was the episode where Twilight baby sat her niece Flurry Heart so Shining Armor and Princess Cadance can get some alone time. Most of the episode was focused on Twilight, but there were some moments with the parents. There was the recent Big Mac episode. Please tell me I'm not going to have to look up the episode where Rarity is jealous because she likes a pony that likes Applejack. There has been more than just the wedding and hearts and hooves day.
  12. I am an adult fan of Power Puff Girls, MLP, and many other kids movies and the like. I carry character lunchboxes for purses, and I have never been given any problem. Now I see people persecuted for liking a specific cartoon and I am flabbergasted. It's ridiculous, and it seems to even cause ripples amount us. I actually left the wikia site when an administrator responded "help someone told me to kill myself because I am a brony" with "deal with it bronies are silly." Nothing was done to the administrator. Look what one hater managed to start here. Let's just stick together. On another note, bronies are not the first to create explicit fan art. Unfortunately, years ago, I had a friend show me some compromising drawings of Belle and Lumiere (the candlestick) and Ariel. I was not impressed, and I am not going to say anymore since I don't like thinking about it. Besides, whatever someone does in the privacy of their own home, mind, etc., as long as everyone is consenting and of legal age, it's none of my business and it's nobody else's either.
  13. Cockroach wrangler Yes, it's a real job.
  14. Hi!  I dropped by to show you some ideas. I don't know if you sew or, if you do, what your skill level is.  The pictures are of a sewing pattern.  The skirt is Victorian era and needs a bustle to keep its shape, but if you like it, I can help with all that stuff. My Pinkie Pie Grand Galloping Gala dress has a hoop skirt.  I'm also a professional seamstress and I don't mind giving advice or even talking you through something.

They all look so good~ I'm pretty jealous. I've only ever sewn one thing and it was the skirt for my Velma cosplay. But I do want to learn to sew so I can make more cosplays myself.

My best recommendation for a starter machine is a Brother.  Don't go with anything too complicated, but automatic buttonhole stitches are highly recommend.  Another option is to check estate sales and the like.  Find an older model sewing machine in working order.  If it doesn't have a manual,  most can be ordered online for a small fee.  My current machine is a high end Brother, it has stitches I haven't even used yet.  I only recently got it.  My old, now back up machine is a Kenmore Ultra-stitch 8.  It's older than I am, but it still works like a dream.  Brother still makes durable machines and have a 25 year warranty.  Most newer machines have replaced metal parts with plastic and, as a result, break and wear out.

When you start sewing, remember, it's ok to make mistakes.  I actually learned a lot when I was swearing under my breath picking thread out of a seam with the seamripper.  Start with easy patterns, most have the difficulty on them. Make things for practice with crap material. I have found some at garage sales and the like.  The last place is classes. They offer some at joanne's.  But you only get better by sewing.  I learned by having the basics and my neighbor (who was teaching me) said "you've seen me sew enough, and it's your costume, so... sew."  I was 10 and, except for a few bobbin incidents, I did, and I have been ever since.

Once I have the funds, I'll probably invest in one. It'll take time, but I'm excited to learn something new~

  15. Really good. I actually really liked that episode. It shows that everypony learns in their own way. The Gift of Maude Pie.

  17. Banned because you didn't think of the children. Won't someone please think of the children?
  18. Yummy! Chocolate Chip Cheesecake.
  19. That's really good. I'm working on two Pinkie Pie ones now myself, I hope you will give me your opinion when I am done. Have you considered doing Rarity's Grand Galloping Gala dress? If you haven't, or even if you have, I would love to chat with you about it. There's this gorgeous Victorian era skirt that would look fantastic for it. Sorry, I'm rambling.
