  1. I am currently making my own Pinkie Pie Grand Galloping Gala cosplay. The pattern I am using for the base skirt is this: I bought the pattern from patternsoftime.com. Here is a direct link: https://www.patternsoftime.com/proddetail.php?prod=TV240 The skirt is an early Victorian era style skirt and requires a hoop skirt to look right when worn. Hoop skirt patterns are on the same site, the pattern actually reccomends which ones to use. The pattern is a pretty advanced pattern. I also made these charm from sculpy: I plan to sew the balloon ones onto the bows around the skirt of the dress to represent Pinkie Pie's cutie mark. The yellow "candy" buttons are for the center of the bows on the top and hat, the rest I'm going to use for charms for jewellery. When I make the hat, I am going to do a step by step tutorial.
  2. Math... I love math. I am a math nerd. I was a math tutor! But that was old math. Common core math makes me feel stupid.
  3. I cosplay. I know others cosplay as well. I am a very skilled seamstress, while others who want to cosplay have varying levels of sewing skills, or even none at all. I have my preferred pony, but I always see things that could work for this cosplay or that cosplay. I figured, why not just post it up on a thread. If I find a sewing pattern, piece of clothing, online tutorial, I will post it here. I invite anyone and everyone else to do the same. I will start with a very simple, but pretty dress that with a little bit of frills added would make a lovely Fluttershy Grand Galloping Gala dress. It can be bought at PyramidCollection.com
  4. It depends on what you're definiton of cute is.  Here's a clip from one of my favorite animes that I think is very cute.

Would love to sample it but it appears to be restricted in my country.

Hold on, let me try daily motion.

That sucks, it don't know why it won't work, it's an official clip from the animators.  Well, it's flying panties, migrating panties, panties that break the sound barrier at mach speeds...

  5. For all you Celestia fans, I found out that Nicole Oliver is going to be at Milwaukee's Ciderfest.

  10. I'm watching The Santa Clarita Diet again, and I just found out it was renewed for a second season.  Yay!

  11. @K.Rool Addict No, Anne was not. Diana Berry's Aunt Josephine, who was very wealthy and both girls visited from time to time, remember her? Well, in the books, she never married, lived with her female best friend all her life, and gives Anne a lecture about how, even if she never married, she still had a very full and happy love life. Anne comments on how difficult it must be to lose her best friend. And the scene goes on. I did a double take when I first read it. It was subtle, but it was there.
  12. Ok, I'm going to put my 2 bits in. I really don't think it should become an issue in MLP due to the age demographic. With that said, why is it so popular? Well, it's taboo and it isn't. Some places it's more taboo than others. It's also nothing new. There are college literature and film classes dedicated to early references to bi/gay/lesbian relationships in early art and film. If any of you are familiar with the Anne of Green Gables series, there's a pretty obvious reference with a character that has a recurring role, but isn't the main cast. It has become much more prevalent in anime, but why not? Very often older teens or adults are the primary audience that anime is targeting. It's obvious when there are genres called harem and, let's not forget hentai.
  13. I know this, my roommate loves emulators, but not all games that can be played on a console can be played on a pc.
  14. It all depends on what you're playing. I would never want to play Civilization (any) or Hero's of Might and Magic, on a console, but I love my Harvest Moon games. There's also something to be said for putting my survival horror on the big screen and turning off the lights.
  15. Oh, and I forgot, forgot... blocked out, same difference. Inspector Gadget. It leads to violence, trust me, I'm a victim. I was four and I was at my babysitter's house with her two kids. It was a lovely afternoon, her son suggested to play Inspector Gadget. He was Gadget, I was Penny, and his little sister was Brain, the dog. The boy went over to a pile of bricks and shouted,"Go! Go! Gadget brick!" and proceeded to throw a brick into the air as high as he could. The brick, an innocent victim of gravity, did what all victims of gravity do, fell fast and hard, right on my head. I screamed, and bled profusely. I had to get stitches, so I was more emotionally traumatized. The moral: Inspector Gadget leads to violence through sheer stupidity.
  16. If you have played Fatal Frame 3, you might know this:
  17. 77° with high humidity, partly cloudy with a 20% chance of rain.
