      @Tacodidra Yeah... I was devastated when I accidentally pressed the button too, seeing a number like "3367" go to zero is just sad... I'm still not used to waking up with a number like "17". :adorkable: Oh well, maybe next time I'll get to 5000. :P 

      And yeah, you better expect brohoofs from me here on out, because you're gonna get it. :catface:

      @Wannabrony Yeah, I'm sorry that happened... :( But getting to 3367 is still pretty impressive – I'm pretty sure I'd end up clicking it the same day if I tried to do something like that! :laugh: I think my record is just 65 which I got twice yesterday.

    Last night was pretty interesting. :muffins: Who would have thought such a random post would lead to a really fun (and still pretty random) conversation? Thanks for one of the best times I've had in my year on the forums! :rarity:

    That made me think – maybe I should start writing statuses more often? :ooh: I don't promise to post one every day (or even every week), and I'll try to come up with something that isn't as pointless. But if status updates can lead to so much fun, I think it's worth a try once in a while! :P

      whenever i look for something random, i just go browse 'all activity', status updates are the best for randomness since they aren't in any specific category and the conversations can lead anywhere

      @Cash In Yeah, that's pretty random! :P I guess it's impossible to predict which status updates become popular. When I made one about having been here for a year, I got just a few replies when I'd have thought that would be my most popular status (and still nowhere near how this one turned out). :laugh:

      @Lord Valtasar That's true, and I find it hilarious how the subject can completely change at times! :D Statuses are much more fun than regular forum posts! :)

      honestly, their response rate depends heavily on many things despite the context,like time of day you make it, and how active the forums are that day in general,and of course in chance,

      @TheTaZe Yeah, it looks pretty weird to have a Team Manehattan supporter with a Fluttershy avatar. :laugh: I have used various ponies for my avatar, now it's Fluttershy's turn as the fourth Mane 6 pony. I'll probably have to switch it during the World Cup – maybe to Coco, as Rarity already got two avatars. :)

    July 12, 2017. It's been two months since I watched the first episode of MLP: FIM and a couple of weeks less that I have been a brony. I feel I'd like to discuss the show with other people and come across a site called MLP Forums – sounds good. I register because why not? I make a thread in the Welcoming Plaza, expecting maybe one or two replies... I open the thread again and see I've received the warmest welcome ever on any forum!

    As incredible as it is, that happened exactly a year ago. Since then, I have slowly but steadily become more active on the forum. Over the year, I've made so many amazing friends – I never expected to find a community this wonderful! It's impossible to count all the times you have cheered me up when I really needed it, and I'm trying my best to do the same. All the conversations – the serious ones, the random ones, everything in between – mean so much to me.

    Looking back at it all, I could never have predicted what a good decision I was about to make as I joined this forum! Thanks to everyone who has made my first year on the forums an amazing one! I look forward to many more, even better ones with all of you!
