It's not often for an amateur astronomer to talk nice about clouds, but they are amazing when photographed with a near IR camera. The sky becomes black, which really makes the clouds pop out.

@Mellow Mane , clouds have a strange habit of showing up right after purchasing telescope accessories. lol

@Tacodidra, clouds tend to get the same treatment as our Moon in amateur astronomy circles. lol. A lot of astrophotographers view the Moon as a giant light polluter.
I think especially the first picture looks great – those lights...
