  1. I tested the tubes in one of my radios and found a really weak one, a 6AV6. This little tube is tired, so it was replaced with one of my spares. My reception greatly improved afterwards too.  :fluttershy:

    You can see the burnt crusty appearance in one of the close up shots.

      @Sondash Studios, Nah, it's actually pretty easy to test vacuum tubes. The procedure in the manual is very clear and only one page long. The 40 or so pages are the switch settings for each type of tube.  ^_^
