    I've been reading a lot bout prion diseases such as Scrapie and CJD. Scary stuff, especially considering the spread of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in deer. Hope it doesn't jump the species barrier  :sealed:

      Frankly I'm surprised nobody's made a horror/action story where the zombie outbreak is attributed to prionic infection. It already has all the terrifying disinfection resistance and body-fluid transmission methods and it's actually something that exists. :-P

      @Duality, I am kinda surprised by that.

      I seem to recall a zombie movie with Billy Zane in it. I believe it centered around mad cow disease in hamburgers turning people into zombies.  It's been a long time since I've seen it, so my memory of it is hazy.  ^_^
