      Here's her lore

      Ghostie Brightlight used to live on a gem farm with her brother Spooky, who suffered a major accident that killed him, Ghostie could still see and hear him though, and realized it wasn't a hallucination, but his ghost. 

       

      After being taken to a hospital and teased by a lot of the other patients, she angrily banged her head into the wall so hard it broke her horn, which severely disabled her magic abilities, limited to levitation and projecting memories, an ability she had discovered more recently.

       

      About a year or two after leaving the hospital and staying with her friends Bolty and Fae, the apoclypse broke out, splitting the friendgroup up as they each tried to seek out shelter.

       

      Ghostie somehow met an unreformed changeling named Scorpionous, who protected her from the zombie ponies, and became a sort of bodyguard, before he fell in love with her.

       

      The two eventually opened up their hearts to each other, they also had common ground with seeing ghosts.

       

      They found out that a stallion named Sans, who was actually a skeleton resembling monster from an underground land. 

       

      The duo managed to contact long dead Princesses named Leo and Ursa, likely ancestors to Princess Luna and Celestia.

       

      They told the duo things about Sans and about what he did and how he caused the apoclypse. 

       

      Ghostie and Scorp eventually gathered a small group of survivors, including an alt universe Scootaloo named Scootablue and Discord.

       

      Slipstream, Scorp's brother and Rich Crawford (Scorp's other brother) were there too. Rich fell in love with Marble Pie, but she didn't love him back. 

       

      Rich left and was killed by infected, Slipstream couldn't live with the guilt so he ran off into another universe.

       

      Scorp and Ghostie got into an arguement over Scorp being in kahoots with Sans long ago, but Scorp never told her, and he never intended falling in love with Ghostie.

       

      They made up, but things were still tense. The rest of the group were still working plans out to stop Sans.

    My lovely friend is back, so my heart feels more full. I got surprise art today -- omg, even a backlog of some and more! I am finding enrichment in everything around me as of late. Making more art. And enjoying some nice conversations. Spoke to @Sir Hugsalot to check in on him and his loved ones -- so that was a happiness boost. Everything is okay. Everyone is okay. Even if life is not perfect, we're just vibing and doing our best. So, I am happy.

I shall be getting back to your art trades ASAP! I never even saw this! I'm SO sorry... she's beautiful!! Thank you!! ;~; omg... I feel so ungrateful for not noticing... You... YOU of all people made me an art?! How are you not even mad at me for not noticing? You're the sweetest person ever thank you!!! But now it's your turn to get an art. Thank you @Iridescent Edge for bringing my attention to this. See @Sparklefan1234 why I needed an assistant for these kinds of things I would normally miss.

    What you see on the thread is the current news. What's in the works is merely a reflection of this philosophy, so, we cannot stress it enough. Just know that staff has your back. You're not alone. Even if you feel sad or lonely or like a bother -- please reach out and talk. Say hi. Know that we care about you. Through thick, thin, good or bad. We're here. To enjoy a good laugh or to address a serious matter. Staff is very caring and involved. We're not invasive, though. Staff won't be going to you, personally. You'd have to come to us and keep us in the loop of whatever is on your mind. We will also be enforcing thread rules here - especially in the Throne Room. Replies have to stay relevant to the post and not so low effort. So, not as much banter unless it's an Event or light-hearted thread like General Discussions/Lounge, etc. Thanks for reading, Ziggswheels. And thanks for being a darling friend in this community.

    Awww Samural, thank you for posting this, lovely. It shall go wonderfully with the new addition to the site where people will be able to connect more with staff through anonymous posting. Hidden threads, etc for the more... shy types who are scared or worried to speak up. Staff is here for you. We are constantly managing the up keep and safety of the site for users to enjoy. So, even if we seem far and distant or detached or rarely acknowledge your shy/hidden presence... if you're here, enjoying the site and community, we're happy to know that and happy to help in any way.
