(I was asked to make an official statement on this - which I think is silly but here it is. I have been provoked and summoned! Viewed all sides and angles and here is the official proclamation.) Announcement: TL:DR; Act I - People will be free to celebrate their family/friend-based holidays on MLPForums without being harassed or aggressively taunted about political matters to the public. Act: II - The second part is me making it theatrical since I'm used to people wanting exactly that whenever a change is made. :v Remember, guys: No politics are to be forced on the public face of the forums! This one's for the newer members or the members in the back, who might have missed it. No excuses. Go here for politics. Anybody who opposes this rule shall be faced with the Guidelines as if it were an old monarch. Similar situation to: King George III If you find the Guideliness are too "oppressive" and like you're "walking on eggshells" because we are simply asking you to not to be a mean to people ... Then prepare for a new Independence Day! I'll bring the fireworks. Just as the Founding Fathers left the "oppressive" Monarch of Guidelines they did not agree to. Off to a "much better place." Independence from forced politics so that everyone is a lot more comfortable with each other is a pretty chill chill rule. A mutually agreed upon arrangement. Should be a good day, then. We should give it a name. The day we became independent from forcing politics onto people. Let us call it Independence day! Original! I know. I thought it up, myself. So, on July 4th on MLPForums, we learned not to force politics on people and let people enjoy their BBQ and digital fireworks. Should anyone protest... more BBQ and fireworks shall be had! I volunteer myself as the villain who breaks into song and has a small query for them... (from the musical of Hamilton XD I'm just looking for an excuse to add this here because it's stuck in my head) 🎵 What comes next? You've been freed. 🎵 🎵 Do you know how hard it is to lead? 🎵 🎵 You're on your own -- awesome. Wow. 🎵 🎵 Do you have a clue what happens now? 🎵 🎵 Oceans rise. Empires fall. 🎵 🎵 It's much harder when it's all your call. 🎵 🎵 All alone, across the seas, when your people say they hate you 🎵 🎵 (for forcing political hatred) don't go blaming that on me. La dee dat dat dat. 🎵 (Just kidding, btw, we don't promote hatred here. It's just the silly lyrics to the song. Good musical, tho!) And that is my response to all of that. Provoke silly behavior and get silly responses. Just don't be mean. The Guidelines can be summed up in that way. Since music is good for the soul. Here's some more King George III references. Fun fact: King George III actually had a heckin' cute and wholesome relationship with his wife! Perhaps that is the true Easter egg here. Despite crazy differences, I've seen beautiful dynamics between people thrive. And this is what I would rather protect. :3 Closing out July with this! Now this music is stuck in my head forever! Gee, thanks! Other Upcoming Changes: I will be adding some changes to the site on August to make things more efficient while I am away. Meet the Moderation Team - (They're actually really sweet and caring! Just don't try to use their compassion as loopholes for leniency). Letters to Royalty - In Staff's promotion - there will be another section for you guys to post and communicate in! Cast Character interaction. I'm not a big fan of this one since I prefer more 1 on 1 engagement with staff but cast characters will be more active and engaging with users with more shenanigans!

Feeling a little conflicted. On one hand.. my compassionate soul says “we must always be composed, mature and serious at all times.” On the other hand.. that also got me into a lot of trouble because people expect you to be the “bigger person” when they choose to act childish so.. I’m gonna opt for a more silly approach and just have fun.

You know, I was struggling with this, as well. But I have come to realize that even if you build an empire from the ground up, get everything right, or if you have done endless good in the world or if your methods have proven to be 100% effective in doing good — there will always be someone watching from the distance talking so much bollocks or warping what you really mean or what you have done. lol It tends to be a reflection of their projection or short sight. So, just be you! People will talk anyway. So long as you’re standing by your principles and you’re not allowing people’s judgments to sway you from who really you are - have fun! I only ask that it not come at the expense of anyone or spread division -- other than that, you won't hear any complaints from me. x3 Go crazy >:D Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. It's a defense mechanism and it's totally valid. x) Btw, what's the movie to the cover on this blog post? It looks interesting.

O my gosh, this was such an intense book for me. I think it would be forum appropriate. I read this when I was a teen. Goodness, it made me cry. But it isn't, like, bad or anything.

My best friend, who is usually too busy to stop by, showed happiness as he stopped by today ! I love seeing updates on his life that he is doing well. massive motivator for my day today!

Better is good. It's not wrong to not feel great. --- Feeling well rested. Stretches are so nice. Excited for hearing an update from a friend and her interview. Whether it works out or not, I am proud of her making it to the second stage!!!!

Wow. Isn’t it amazing? Something so seemingly small. And yet you’ve made such a big splash! the big title thing made me smile, btw haha I love seeing your personality seasoned through your lessons learned. Sometimes you may feel like you don’t matter. Just a lurker who is observing, but your existence makes a difference. And it has already made a difference in the people whom you have engaged with here. Maybe it’s like a microcosmic reflection of a macrocosmic thing. The same would apply to in-person life. But it is so easy to forget. I love hearing about your journey and progress as you come out of your shell and make new discoveries x3 Btw “becoming” is such a key word for me. Yes. We are all becoming. Together. isn’t it amazing? Imagine if Twilight chose to not step out of her comfort zone and just stick to what she knows? What else is out there that we have yet to explore due to our limited labels or boxes?? I have a similar story to share. Maybe another time though because it is very meaningful to me. But it’s similar to yours here. And parallels to my own overcoming shyness here when I joined the forums.

Didn’t want to just leave this with no response. Feedback has been received and is appreciated. We’ll do our best. Even if there’s already plenty of other stuff to keep up.

Poor darlings. That is never good. Keeping fingers crossed and wishing for the best. Prayers for the best possible outcome out of these chaotic circumstances.

Yes! I am happy that you came at a time when we were clearing out the impostors. But I am sad to know you get the reference of what we mean. This is why we try to clear the airs of politics in the public eye. It is not to censor or have people "walk on eggshells," heck.. if anyone feel like they are "walking on egg shells" because we ask them to not throw aggressive politics into people's faces.. then... this place is definitely not for them. @.@ The place is a spot of compassion due to community effort. Not because we like to clean up after people's messes like janitors. x3 Awww jynx! Definitely post about it! I was dubious about making this post since -- no politics -- but then I was like "O, wait, it's about how friendship should surpass that nonsense. Not be the center focal pont of discussion and who is wrong and who is right."

Not sure. I used to have a high self esteem when I was slaying it and being successful. Then, after isolating, I got comfortable in my isolation and my self esteem fluctuated a bit. I still love people and love charisma but... *rushes away to home office to hide*
