  1. "Dang it, Starlight! Why won't you go take care of raging beasts, while we observe from the balloon?" Moonlight begrudgingly jumps off the bear and continues on hoof. (steps: 330)
  2. "What the... Did you really take Fluttershy's bear as a taxi?! Sweet Luna..." *He clumsily hops onto the bear, but accidentally starts with the wrong hoof and ends up sitting backwards.*
  3. His hooves still hurt, but he keeps running. (steps: 312)
  4. Mushroom. Mushroom. Mushroom! Mushroom. Mushroom. Mushroom! Mushroom. Mushroom. Mushroom. Mushroom. Mushroom. Mushroom. Mushroom. - dwarves, Deep Rock Galactic
  5. With a tremendous effort (greatly reduced thanks to the strength of the bear), Moonlight helps push the tree out of the way. The bat pony resumes the run, but his hooves hurt after the unsuccessful animal handling attempt. (steps: 336)
  6. Moonlight tries to calm down bats, rats and cats, but for some reason only bats listen to him. After getting scratched by a cat and bitten by a rat, he gives up on animals and tries to push the tree out of the way. (steps: still 330) Animal rolls: Tree rolls: 28
  7. It's always good to have options. Most people don't have time or patience to try full stealth, so adding stealth mechanics to action games prevents this playstyle from dying, while enhancing the games. I should give Dishonored another chance. I keep hearing good things about it. When I started playing, I made a mistake of considering the non-lethal approach to be the "correct" way to play, because you get the good ending. So it was like the game gives you tools to make gameplay fun, but discourages using them. For me it's always been annoying when a game treats playing lethally like a failure. Like, you kill an enemy, and you get a red X in the pause menu, because you failed an optional challenge. If anything, this kind of playstyle should be a hidden challenge, that only shows up when you complete it.
  8. I always try to use a stealth approach in any game that allows it. The first one I tried was Watch Dogs, back when I was too impatient to wait and not smart enough to use lures and distractions. I just liked takedown animations ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Far Cry 3 was the first stealth game that I actually finished. I couldn't fully sneak through it, because there were moments when you were expected to get in a gunfight, but other than that, I tried to stay undetected. It was also when I started limiting my ranged options, avoiding any guns except for tasers Lately, I started playing Styx: Master of Shadows, that takes stealth to the next level. You are weaker and slower than most enemies, so getting spotted usually has more severe consequences. In the middle of the game, I decided to stop using manual saves, which makes the whole experience much different. Now it's less trial and error and more waiting, observing and planning, and when the plan works out it's extremely satisfying. I'm gonna have to try that approach in other games. So, what are your thoughts about stealth games? What are your favorite ones?
  9. Moonlight turns his head just in time to catch blue cotton candy in his mouth. "Fanf fu, Famuai!" he says, and starts eating, without slowing down. (steps: 305)
  10. Even better. That paint option is on the bus by default and can't be changed. And it's the only Titanium White vehicle that I currently have.
  11. When no one is looking, Moonlight jumps into a pile of leaves and inexplicably jumps out of another pile, a little further down the track. (steps: 288)
  12. "Oh, really? I don't remember any rule mentioning vehicles." *Moonlight jumps as Silky collides with him.* "Hey! What gives? I'm pretty sure that wasn't allowed." *He looks back at @Shiny Silvermoon.* "Shiny, are you trying to get Silky disqualified?" (steps: 273)
  13. I'm in! Random facts about Moonlight Wane: His design came to me in a dream. I just added more colors. Currently able to dreamwalk at short range and detect sleeping creatures. Abilities he wants to learn are long range dreamwalking and summoning items from the dreamscape into the real world. Moves silently, often surprising ponies by suddenly appearing next to them. (based on me irl) Likes mangoes. Likes spaghetti. Thinks he would be able to pick locks, but hasn't tried it yet. EEEEE! Slower than a bus.
  14. Styx: Master of Shadows. It's slowly becoming one of my favorite stealth games.
  15. Moonlight is sprinting as fast as he can to catch up with Titanium. He's focused on his goal and nothing can stop him now! (steps, including 50% bonus: 245)
  16. Moonlight flinches and shakes his head, trying to shake off a bit of paint that Titanium's tail left on his muzzle. "A little cake batter? Did you even see-" Moonlight remembers how he looked coming out of the previous obstacle, and concludes that there's no reason to remind her. "Nevermind. We're still racing, so we shouldn't delay. Good luck, Titanium!" He gives her a little pat on the head, before sprinting off.
  17. "Yeah, if only I had the strength of an earth pony in my hooves to run for hours without getting tired." Moonlight boops Titanium. "Or if someone had told me we could go around the cake batter instead of through it." Boops again. "But hey, I've been saving my strength for the second half of the race, and you must be tired after that chaotic part. I will catch up. And if you ask nicely, maybe I will give you a ride when you're too tired to continue." He says with a confident smile.
  18. "I think she will be fine." Moonlight sits down and puts a wing on her back. "Don't think about it. You are still in the first place. It's just Discord's passive chaos magic, bending reality to keep ponies in a large area closer than they really are, so they can witness his shenanigans. Probably that's why you aren't feeling well. The reality constantly tries to fix itself, while keeping the transition between what is happening and what should be happening the least noticeable, so everything should get back to normal when you keep running and lose sight of other ponies."
  19. Moonlight stops and looks back, hearing a thud of a barrel hitting a pony. He gasps when he sees it's Titanium, and runs back towards her. "Titanium, are you alright?" He reaches his hoof to her, trying to help her get up.
  20. Before Applejack can finish speaking, Moonlight is already weaving between the barrels, sprinting without touching a single one. He jumps over the last barrel for style points, landing on his front legs and rolling forward. (steps: 218)
  21. "Jumping or agility? What an odd choice." Moonlight thought as he tried to decide whether he's more agile or more jumpy. "I'm not used to jumping without wings. I'll try agility. Let's see if I'm a good acro-bat!" (steps: 200)
