It hurts to know there are people like that out there, and there are many of them, but I agree with you. Something is not right with how that guy treats Sketch is not something to be ignored, and I would calmly request ceasing contact with that person. If that sounds too harsh, what does Sketch suggest be the alternative? if that person is not going to change, and I doubt he will at this point, but then again I don't know him, then the only sensible thing to do is to cut off friendship with that individual. He'd keep pushing and pushing until he gets what he wants, inappropriate touching is a definite no for me.

Snoopy Fan and I had a discussion earlier about the MLP fanfic. He said it was cute, in response to my OC learning to overcome their phobia to vomit in the Nightmare Realm after my OC was asked by Luna if they wanted help with that. Here's my response. "I think so too, this would be similar to Hasbro's official MLP episode Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep the only difference is, my OC is not there to be punished. I hope nobody finds this creepy, the truth is bud I do want some challenge if I were to be put into that fantasy world scenario of my fanfic. Without challenges we cannot really be tested on our virtue and bravery, and then that whole existence becomes meaningless. Also if I wanted this adventure to be too easy, it would not reflect well on my character either, if I expected everything to be done for me without giving anything back, it would come off as vain escapism, not a genuine desire to become one of them." In essence without problems to solve, it is no longer an adventure, I would not say the use of magic in fantasy worlds is inherently cheaty, and I have outlined an example in this scenario here. Magic can sometimes make fantasy stories far more interesting, it just depends on how creative you get with it, in this case, what my OC did to learn to become more resilient to phobia so that it did not continue to limit my character unnecessarily throughout the story, magic did not automatically cure a pre existing problem without downsides or risks for its use, rather, it provided a platform where my OCs psychological issue could be dealt with, without the physical risks that come with things like panic attacks. The dreamworld is enhanced, in my opinion, by showing Princess Luna's dream powers being practical.

"The way I see it, if an enemy knows your name, they already know too much." I am thinking of giving that script to Hasbro's fictional character Twilight Sparkle, in my fan fiction. My OC would not be brainy enough to come up with such a thing anyway, not with past life memories being erased and all. This takes place in an event where Twilight warns my OC to never go near Chrysalis.

I agree, people for the most part do live by that ethos which makes this community so positive and welcoming, I like the show for its whimsical adventure story telling as well, where characters like Mane Six and the community they share in their fictional world learn to work out problems through compromise and give and take, Sisterhooves Social is one of my favourite episodes. And nobody gets bullied here for writing fanfictions or making fan arts here either, which is very nice, we have a safe space where we can discuss that, within reason. Obviously for profit fanfics cannot be allowed for copyright or trademark reasons, and it must not promote anything which could harm children (NSFW) either, but non profit activities where people discuss their fantasies and daydreams about a fiction they like are a different matter altogether. I am not ashamed of wishing I could be in Equestria, I have even spoken to some adults who said the same. Like me, @Night Sky wishes to be a Pegasi there, how cool it would be if we could fly there and make friends with such a caring community. I'd love them wit all my heart and I'd be loyal to Equestria if I could exist in that fantasy, none of us can though sadly. A Pure hearted adventure like that for me, like in my fanfic I had been working on, being reincarnated there after naturally passing on, is definitely a kind fate for me and I'd choose it if I could, I don't know about everybody else but sometimes I feel this is a fate too kind for me, considering I have hurt people and got into fights in the past. Doesn't mean I want to continue to be that way, though.

One of the best things about this website and people who run it, is the ethos of Friendship is Magic, yes, it does mean solidarity and helping each other grow. To me, what MLP FIM TV show represents, means I continue to support it. It has good episodes, and bad episodes, but like with everything else, taking the good with the bad is sometimes necessary. There is no perfect fiction.

As long as we have each other here, this community will never die. Sure, individually we do not live forever, but new generations of people will replace us, and just as a small group of fans still support My Little Pony G1, there will be a group of people who will like other generations of My Little Pony and talk about that as well. Also G4 will most likely endure for decades to come, Luna is Best Princess.

Rarity is cute, just like other members of Mane Six. My fanfic also includes her too, I tried my best to get Rarity's characterization right, however if I messed up somewhere with this one, feel free to criticize it if you'd like, I'll see what can be improved on. But Here is a part of it here. I do remember some of Rarity's mannerisms from the show, and she uses the word "Darling" a lot with her mid Atlantic accent. She is very chill, and easily a Pony I could see anyone who likes her being friends with her in that fantasy world scenario they were with her. Do I relate to her in some way behaviour wise? I am not entirely sure, I don't come from a posh family, I'm not a fashion pro either. Polite she most definitely is most of the time, she can be humorous with her dramatics, and yes she does give helpful advice to others in the show, like when she and Pinkie Pie helped to prevent a couple who owned a restaurant from losing their business. We're part of the community too, as long as people support MLP FIM it will never fade away. Fans are what keep a franchise like MLP relevant.

I am thinking of combining purple and green LED strips for my ornaments I plan to collect. The purple LED strip will pair well with the plasma ball thing I want to place on the shelf. That way, when I get the Queen Chrysalis figurine, it will make it look like the green goop she traps her victims in is giving off mystical energy of its own. Optical illusions and all that are fun. Perhaps I'll provide a photo of it all when it is done in October, when I start using my Raspberry Pi 5 setup for using MLP forums. I love fantasy elements that involve magic, and My Little Pony is no exception.

I wrote this to my friend Snoopy Fan earlier in a wonderful discussion about the fictional character Fluttershy from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. "Fluttershy in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic represents why femininity is important in my opinion. it's not just about looks, the strength of femininity, is how she shows compassion toward others. Fluttershy's influence on Discord for example is a big one, Discord became much less unpredictable and dangerous as a result of Fluttershy's kindness toward him, while not perfect, it's clear her gentleness influenced him in a way to be less of a risk to Equestrians. That to me is what real strength is, learning how to be kind, influence others to be kind, as well as confronting inner demons and conquering them, improving our behaviour."

Yeah I use corded ones as well, mainly because bluetooth ones can drop their signal, I know not every device has headphone jacks, some phones don't have them, and unless bluetooth headphones pair well with the device, they end up being more trouble than they're worth. Not saying it is impossible to get a decent set of bluetooth cans and device to use them with, but they're not my preference either. If people don't like their cables dangling all over the place while they're traveling, hide them underneath the shirt or jacket, it's what I do with mine.

That sucks, hope that was not expensive, you can find good high quality ones on Amazon, if you're after wireless ones, Anker Soundcore ones should work. But they're hardly the best option.

I'm going to drink tea soon. Glad I bought earcups to repair my old headphones, did not want to waste money replacing that thing or worse, it becoming part of a landfill due to non recyclable and non biodegradable plastics. A little DIY from each person goes a long way to reducing e-waste.

It's not something I like to think about, part of the reason I was working on my MLP FIM fan fiction although I had other distractions recently but never mind, point is this, one of the reasons for it, is a desire to be young again, sure, I could fantasize about reincarnating in this world, but the truth is, this world sucks. I've gone over several reasons why, some are political, but due to forum restrictions discussions like that are best saved for Twilight's Soapbox. Given that, even the Monarchy in Equestria is looking a lot better right now. Princess Luna post reform is not dangerous, neither is Princess Celestia dangerous, despite the criticisms from the fandom about her, she can be a bit ill tempered at times toward her sister, yes, but then this mirrors sibling rivalries that can happen in real life, lots of people do argue from time to time, being close to someone does not change the reality that we disagree with another's opinion or something they did at certain points in our lives. Daydreaming about my fan fiction helps me feel young again, in my mind I am free.
