I was messaging a friend about what ifs involving any of us being in the fantasy world Equestria from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic in one of their alternate realities. I don't have permission to share anything from his end about this, however this is a message I sent him. "I doubt I'd be strong enough to defeat her in a fight like that if I were in that fantasy world, remember my OC is not a soldier, not even a Wonderbolt Trainee, my OC in my fan fiction is just some average citizen trying to live out a peaceful life, and if confronted by somebody as dangerous as that, what choice would I have? the best I could hope for in that situation, is provide a distraction. I don't know about you buddy, how you make an OC is your decision not mine. But I would not desire to be in Equestria to satisfy ego or lust for power, I am not saying you would be greedy either. However that's not how I'd do things. And because of my desire for peace, even at the cost of my own ability to fight, I don't believe I'd be able to defeat Chrysalis, not by myself anyway. Violence for self defence is justified, but as you said, if ego becomes a problem, then becoming corrupted means replacing one problem for another. That is the reason why I would not desire to be a unicorn or an alicorn there. I am not saying Twilight Sparkle or any of the other Alicorns are inherently evil for possessing powerful magic, however I would be concerned about misusing it if I had it, even unintentionally hurting innocents is not something I'd be willing to gamble for the sake of power. Power requires wisdom to be used responsibly, if I lacked the knowledge to use it, if I lacked the analytical thinking Twilight Sparkle has, I would not be a reliable individual to use it."

I still like to have a screensaver just for the fun of it and so I don't have a boring black screen to look at while I am listening to music. Screensavers generally work fine although they're generally useless nowadays except for perhaps testing the stability of graphics drivers, that can be done with video games and benchmarking programs though. But you're right, I won't be using Winstep or Window Blinds anymore, since each time I've used those types of apps something did go wrong with my system in a matter of a year or two. It really is a shame that Windows 11 isn't as stable as it could be though, and depending on the theme chosen in Window Blinds 11 it crashes Media Monkey 5, I tested it repeatedly, confirmed it interferes with that app as well, a media player of all things. I've got things to sort out on my other desk before I use my Pi 5 PC for MLP forum use, most of what I use my computer for does not need anywhere near the amount of power my video games do. And it's a waste of electricity to use my high powered PC for simple tasks like web browsing and media players, for power efficiency my Pi 5 would be better used for this. I'll also enjoy using a Debian based Linus operating system. I use a high endurance SD card inside it, so it should last a while before problems start. I put all my music on an external hard drive to increase the longevity of the SD card as well. But I don't trust Windows enough to continue using it long term, for some weird reason it's not good at protecting its own files from being tampered with. With software sold on Steam like Window Blinds 11, that is inexcusable.

On the one hoof, Squidward has to deal with Patrick's nonsensical behaviour, on the other hoof, he has to also deal with Spongebob's antics, while locked in his job to pay the rent and two buffoonish individuals pestering him day in day out, he cannot win.

Aww, that Queen Chrysalis ornament on my shelf next to my plasma globe/dragon statue has made my imagination go into overdrive now, I'll be daydreaming more about MLP, and now I wish there was an RPG MLP FIM game on Nintendo Switch, with her as a final boss. Seeing as we cannot be in Equestria, player talking to NPC's is the best outcome we're going to get here.

My Queen Chrysalis figurine came today, and wow she looks so epic next to the plasma globe ornament on my shelf!

Twilight Sparkle hits Spike emoji would go perfect with that one. Cartoonish stars circling Spike's head would be a funny addition. Emoji name "twilightslap"

Today is the day my recent purchase on Ebay is getting delivered. I'm hoping the green part of the Chrysalis statue will illuminate when I place the green LED's above the shelf. If it doesn't, well, a failed science project I guess. Trying to come up with cool decoration ideas for my bedroom.

Watching a movie, going to make a cup of tea soon but I'm watching A Nightmare on Elm St, the original one.

Grateful that I am with this community, not a day has passed that made me regret being here, not one. Thank you for supporting each other, and me, I feel safe here, knowing people are in solidarity with each other, offering support to people who are in need of comfort.

How strange the movie Flight of Dragons movie was, it is kind of ridiculous to suggest belief has an affect on the existence or lack thereof of magic. The reason it does not in the real world, our world, is because of the laws of nature, our world operates by cause and effect determinism and that's all there is to it, no magic required as an explanation for anything. But in fantasy, clearly worlds operate by their own rules laid out by whoever created said fantasy world. If you make a comic book, you decide how the story goes, imagination is near limitless.

I was doing the same, Snoopy Fan is such a sweet and caring person, we talk about My Little Pony a lot and even though we don't agree on all opinions, nobody really does, we still had a respectful conversation, he even called my daydreaming about MLP cute. I'm touched, truly, I admit I am sensitive, and it is so great to know people who are also sensitive and not judgmental. <3

Happy that I had a talk with Snoopy Fan about the character Queen Chrysalis from MLP there's a wiki page about her, and she was far worse in the comics, if people think she would not resort to murder, think again. Even in the show version, she had no issue with turning Equestria into a frozen wasteland if it meant leaving nothing for Ponies to survive, meaning she is not above genocide if it suits her goals of wiping out a resistance. Another horrible thing about her is when she traumatized Cutie Mark Crusaders by killing a kitten in front of them in the comics, with censored blood and guts being black instead of red.

Content that I plugged a wall adapter in my plasma globe and it is working fine, I previously used batteries in it but I removed those, that thing drains batteries like a vampire. On the good note, it doesn't get particularly hot which is good, it should last a long time. I had a plasma globe years ago which I got rid of, however that one got hot, doesn't seem efficient.

I'm torn whether or not to do a Queen Chrysalis from MLP with horror movie villain ornaments on my shelf and green and purple LED strips or all MLP characters and a rainbow LED strip on my shelf. a rainbow LED strip does not cost much, about £8 and it gives plenty of customization, with an app on a smartphone it can be changed. So I don't have to have the same colour all year round.

I was talking about watching horror movies last night, like Freddy vs Jason and A Nightmare on Elm Street to quote Ed from Ed Edd n Eddy "Monster movie good for Ed!" But then Rarity from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic would probably turn round and say to me "Nonsense! such uncouth form of entertainment is not allowed around here!" Well, I am not in that fictional world to be scolded by her over that.

I would not want to be on Princess Luna's naughty list, that's for sure.

It's not like watching horror movies would get me put on Equestria's naughty list.

Oh well, at least I don't have to confess my sins to Princess Luna from my fanfic.
