    Being obsessed with a fiction and wanting a dream about them are two different things. You may support the work of a fiction, purchase merchandise, collect music CD's or vinyl records of the soundtracks from said fictions, but that does not necessarily mean you want to be there. Not going to lie though, there are a lot of but not all, children who would want or like a dream about being a Pokemon trainer, and may not necessarily remember it in adulthood. Since I like making friends, and that includes different species of animals, a dream about being a Pokemon Trainer even now as an adult would not do it for me, I don't want to make them to fight for the sake of entertainment. To me, and this is a matter of perspective, that would be a weird dream. Not everyone would understand why I'd want to dream about MLP FIM characters, even with a pure hearted adventure and not for anything grimdark, to some people they may call that a weird dream. I don't just want to dream about that though, I wished I could be in that fantasy world, especially my fanfic I made so it would be easier to adapt to that magical world than simply morphing into a Pegasi, my OC is a Pegasi who got reincarnated after human life ended in old age. Friendship there would mean far more to me than anything materialistic or vain like wealth and fame. But I can never go there, a dream about being there would be nice, though.

    as stupid as it sounds, I had a dream about characters from Ed Edd n Eddy, Lee Kanker was with Double D. I know I said I liked the show, but not that much. I wanted a dream about Princess Luna from MLP doing something humorous but not creepy, and instead my subconscious gives me a dream that is totally unrelated to it. I hate my brain.

    I can understand your love for Princess Luna in MLP FIM, Equestrian Goth, really I can.

    While I would not want to marry or date her, I would still want to prove my loyalty to Equestria if I was in my fanfiction world. And yes I would like to be Princess Luna's friend. Upon first meeting her I would be shy of her, but if I were my OC in that fantasy world, could learn a lot from somepony like her, she could help me to face my fears and be more courageous. I could become her disciple if you will, learning more about dreams and about how they work. I'm serious, she would be fun to talk to and be a friend of, we do have something in common. Light the jack o lanterns! Nightmare Night festival is lit!

    How awesome this community is, Snoopy Fan and everybody else I have communicated with here! nobody gets insulted or called weird for writing pure hearted adventure fanfictions of MLP FIM or any fanfic similar to that here from what I can tell. :kindness:

    I truly appreciate my friends here, everyone of you. No fantasy is as good as a real friend. There will never be life after death, fan fiction or not, so there will be no reincarnation or reuniting in Nirvana. but we can cherish the life and friendship we have now before our time on the planet ends.

    I could just picture that moment in my head, it creeps me out. It would not stop me from doing that for CMC if I were in that fantasy fanfic world as my OC, but I can already anticipate how that situation would play out. With no plot armour to restrain her sadism, she would drain my life force I think, but I cannot just let CMC suffer instead, as that would be selfish. After my OCs line as they whimper in anticipation of the danger "You're not going to make this painless, are you?" Chrysalis with a sinister grin, indicates no with a left to right movement of her head, proceeds to use emotional energy drain, mocks my OC as they try to escape, then after a cackle she says something like "Just give up, it's over for you, I'm predator, you're prey, deal with it!". I know there would be a risk of that type of situation playing out in that timeline if I were in this fantasy world, even with my opinion that Equestria is a great world to live in, but as long as my friends were safe, that would help. Freedom is worth that IMO.

      I don't know how you'd write a fanfic and really that is your choice. :pinkiehappy: But for me, I could write this part in my MLP fan fiction, I don't care if this has my OC and by extension my imaginary self's soul sent back to the Bardo. I don't even care if Princess Luna warns there's a chance this type of thing could happen before getting reincarnated there to begin with, I'd say to her, no matter how afraid I was, deliberately letting children suffer is a big moral failing. So yeah, it would be tough, but there are situations where I'd die to protect Equestria, it does not take a warrior, only a selfless individual who cares.

      Thank you Snoopy Fan. And yeah as much as I'd like to write in a plot in this MLP fan fiction where characters grow old and safe, battles in Equestria kind of imply not everypony does. If I were in that fantasy world as my OC Pegasi I'd love them with all my heart though. And you're right, standing up to a bully like Chrysalis would be better than giving up. Cowardice would just make things worse.

    No, I'd much rather live in the fantasy of my MLP FIM fanfic still. At least then, if I earned it, I would eventually reunite with ancestors in Nirvana after the rebirth cycles stopped. Buddhist tradition is also mythology, reincarnation is not scientifically proven either, however I would not want to live forever in this terrible universe. Outliving everybody I've ever known would become torture after a while, only to then watch the universe slowly destroy itself by entropy and then be wiped out with it. Depending on the technology, space exploration may be an option but even then, there are hardships which would eat away at my psyche for too long.

    I'm begging my subconscious to do this, a non lucid dream about Princess Luna. No, I don't care for dating characters, pure hearted fun is all I ask for. I wish good dreams on others too. Cuteness makes people happy.

    Even though Princess Luna is a fictional character one dream I'd appreciate and think would be cute is if I had a dream of going down rapids, falling down a waterfall, and then after coming to dry land, as I cling to rocks on the side to keep my head out of the water, Princess Luna is waiting on the dry land at the swamp, she laughs mischievously, saying I was not in any danger, before she uses her telekinesis to lift my body out of the water and on top of the dry land on the clearing before lowering me on to the swamp land beside her. She would be humorous to have a conversation with.

    Hi there Samurai Equine. I can see why you like Princess Celestia from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, and yes if I were my OC in that fantasy world Equestria alternate timeline like in my fanfic I am working on as a Pegasi, as I wish to be which will never happen for obvious reasons, then yes I would be loyal to Celestia. Why? because she is not a warmongering leader, that is why, one thing I do respect about Celestia is her moral restraint, she is not a monster. I do wish she was more cautious about Princess Luna's mental health problems but beside her questionable choices which are not necessarily intentional, I think we have a lot in common. I don't want to date her or marry her or anything like that, I'd like to be her friend, however she likes to have fun, and does not take everything too seriously, like she would not be quick to anger all the time at small accidents. Princess Celestia | My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Wiki | Fandom

      Having feelings for Celestia is just an inside joke, really. It's really just me taking things to the extreme. Like a fan who gets too serious about his waifus. It's all in good fun really. As for my OC, canonically he admires Celestia and follows her orders above any other pony in command. He Looks up to her and regards her as the best princess of them all; just about everyone in Japone probably would. He would love to get to know her better, but he's happy to just follow orders like a loyal soldier, and he's lucky if he gets any orders from her directly. He usually just gets orders from his superiors in Japone; so if Celestia asks him for anything, it must be something special! But you are right, Celestia is very kindhearted. So there is hope that maybe she just might want to know her royal guards and personal soldiers on a more personal level. (Anything beyond that would just be beyond his wildest dreams~!)

      The tea thing was very funny. The way she believed in Fluttershy's ability to reform Discord was adorable as well. There are many instances where we see her true nature. And I want to believe that she and Luna do work together to repair any faults in their relationship as well as try to make sure Luna gets the mental health she needs, we just don't see it on screen. :twilightsmile: And I do like the idea that both of our OC's would get along with her. Maybe yours would have an easier time approaching her, since mine would want to follow royal procedure and not step out of line. But maybe, just maybe, our OC's could also get along with each other and be friends! They might just have a lot to share.

      I suppose I shouldn't take it too seriously since Princess Celestia is a fictional character, however when I said I would be loyal to her if I were in that fantasy world, it would be the case, I'd love Equestria and their inhabitants with all my heart. Their world is so much more peaceful than our own. Some fans complained about how they had some invasions and Celestia having insufficient countermeasures, but the truth is our world has had way more invasions even with our stronger military with many more personnel. A broken culture with extreme racism does far more to cause conflict than what exists in Equestria in my opinion. Equestria has something our world does not have enough of, mercy.

      I feel the same. I love that world and its characters. Despite all their differences, I can relate to all of Mane Six for different reasons, as well as many other characters. :pinkiesmile:

      Though honestly, that last part confuses me a little. Counter measures should only exist in response to a need. It shouldn't exist for the sake of existing. Sadly in real life, we live in a world where friendship does not always solve everything and can be used against us by people with cruel intent. We NEED counter measures to help us, because we know how bad the world can get without them. However, the ponies live in a world where friendship is magic. It canonically makes the magic they share stronger and more powerful. It just works; they don't need many other counter measures than what we see in the show. And as the old saying goes, if ain't broke, don't fix it.

      There comes a point where taking things too seriously and too realistically ultimately ruins the fiction and goes against the fantasy the authors are trying to create. I should know, I've seen it in other fandoms too.

    I need to redraft chapter 3 of my MLP fan fiction I just noticed, I need to clarify Nirvana allows all past life memories to be retrievable for one thing. But I decided to leave in the phobia to vomit part for my OC representing myself and my wish to be there in that fantasy world, so that after reincarnation and becoming a Pegasi, my OC keeps that fear for a test of bravery, when Princess Luna in that timeline of Equestria ends up noticing that then she gives advice on how to deal with that. I don't want the adventure there to be too easy, I'd want my imaginary self's loyalty to be tested to prove how much my OC loves to be there and to not burden others. What do you think Snoopy Fan? any ideas if you don't mind sharing?

      Well, my OC has a strong sense of morality. If I saw Chrysalis, I would warn the mane six and try to help them stop her in any way I can.

    There's an oversight I have to correct later on in my fanfiction, that inconsistency only happened because I wanted to add the latent memory part for past lives, and I need to clarify that all past life memories will be retrievable once characters end up in Nirvana.

    I wished a friend who passed away not too long ago were still alive today, really sucks that I cannot get into a chat with him on Discord, he really was fun to talk to. He had lived by himself in his own apartment since his own mother passed away as well, before he died.

    One question and one question only "EXPLOSIONS?!" I really would not be surprised if Starlight Glimmer were to be considered the biggest badass in all of Equestria though, especially mixing MLP characters in with Borderlands ones and Mr Torgue has his input on the matter. So much fan fiction potential with that crossover, Borderlands and MLP. What would Chrysalis new power up be? Ultimate badass Chrysalis? lol

    I see your point. it would be far more fun to talk to sentient programs in a VR world who thought they were MLP characters living in Equestria though, but that's not going to happen either, that would be cool, though and that's the closest one could get to actually being in that world. But as for role playing, yeah there's that, I suppose that can help with some people to build up a fan fiction as well when you got a friend to assist you with it. It's just not my cup of tea.
