In my opinion, she's a 4. The reason I say so is because of the decisions she makes. The Equestrian Twilight is obviously at the center of her friend group, and whenever any of the other 5 have any dispute, Twilight usually gets involved and helps. Equestrian Twilight thinks friendship is a waste of time and she doesn't change until she meets the other 5. After that, she goes all in on friendship and goes from being aggressive to being a really, really nice pony. At least, that's how FiM works. In EQG.......things are a bit different. You'll notice that humane Twilight is introduced similar to the way Equestrian Twilight is portrayed in Season 1, Episode 1. However, humane Twilight takes a bit of time to adapt. After accepting that friendship is important in Friendship Games, she has anxiety about screwing things up again in Legend of Everfree. Then, you'll notice that she tends to act slightly aggressive instead of instantly changing like Equestrian Twilight. She gets a little mad in Magical Movie Night and yells at humane Rainbow Dash in Spring Breakdown—which isn't something that Equestrian Twilight would do. I can't think of more examples off the top of my head, but if you analyze Sci Twi in all of the films, you'll notice that she can act a little more aggressive than Equestrian Twilight. Considering how critical of a role Twilight plays in both, I feel like that shouldn't exist, which is why I think that she shouldn't be in the center as much.

I'm not ancient enough to know 80's culture, but from what I've read and seen I'm going to assume EQG is based in late 90's to early 2000's. That's because the fashion style is seriously outdated, but they had actual laptops and smartphones and stuff. Being a tech nerd, I can infer that those devices are pretty chunky, which is basically all early laptops before 2016 or so. The phones also have a bunch of buttons, and the latest example of phones with that many physical buttons I can think of is the Blackberry - which was introduced in 2002. However........I did notice how humane Scootalo, Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Belle were watching a YouTube video in the first movie. That YouTube didn't look like the ancient one - it's user interface was similar to 2020-ish YouTube. I'm pretty sure that YouTube didn't even have that UI when the first EQG movie released, so I'm just guessing that it was just simple art and not a reference to modern user interfaces.

In the post credit scene of the G5 movie, we see a sparkly track of hoofprints appear. I'm guessing that was Twilight (also Twilight was horographically shown in some episode, I havent gotten there yet). Another (sadder) theory is that they simply died. Remember, magic was removed from Equestria because the three ponykinds weren't getting along. That probably included the alicorns' magic, meaning that they lost their immortality eventually died as well. I really loved all of the princesses in G4, but, unfortunately, this is the most likely possibility.

Rainbow Rocks is my favorite by far. The music is just so good However, Friendship Games is a close second. It does have a really good storyline...... The first EQG movie was nice, but the plot is too simple. I guess I can't blame Hasbro for that since it was an introduction and, in the end, it was meant for smaller children who won't understand complicated plots. I just hate Legend of Everfree. Nothing really happens in that. In general, after Friendship Games, EQG films/movies follow the same storyline: Equestrian magic/artifacts have found their way into the human world and the humane 7 have to defeat it. I can't think of one film/movie after Friendship Games that doesn't follow this plot (except for Spring Breakdown; I love Spring Breakdown because it's the only one where a human besides Sunset Shimmer goes to Equestria).

Yeah, that makes a lot more sense. I thought that the friends in G5 represented the beginning of the new era of a united Equestria, which was upheld by the Mane 6 of G4. And I've heard a lot about Misty but I have absolutely no idea who she is (I'm guessing that she's a unicorn so that the friend group has 2 earth ponies, 2 unicorns, and 2 pegasi---just like it did in G4).

But what exactly is "start to finish"??? I watch MYM chapter 1 first, and if yes, then what?

I just found a few more instances of full names being revealed in the credits, particularly from the 2017 movie. The first is Tempest's full name. She's referred to as "Tempest" throughout the entire movie (and even in Season 8 Episode 1), but the credits show that her full name is Tempest Shadow: I don't know if the rest of these are actually name reveals or if I just don't remember their names, but the cat guy's actual name is apparently "Capper": The small guy who is Tempest's second-in-command and really loves spongecakes is "Grubber": And the captain of the pirates is called "Captain Celaeno": I also find it interesting how they listed a bunch of characters who aren't in the movie in the closing credits: I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on these!!

I can't believe I didn't notice this earlier, but........the G5 mane 6 seem to represent the Element of Harmony from FiM (based on their actions in the movie) Hitch has the ability to communicate with animals, like Fluttershy. That means that his element is Kindness. Zipp hates to lie to the citizens of Zephyr Heights that only the royal family can fly. So, she represents Honesty. Izzy is EXTREMELY cheerful and energetic, especially compared to the other unicorns of Bridlewood. Izzy's element is Laughter. Pipp cares a LOT about her public image, which was a characteristic shared by Rarity in FiM. Pipp represents Generosity. Sunny is kind of the "main" out of the G5 mane 6, similar to how Twilight was the "main" out of the G4 mane 6. She also got those magical wings and horn at the end of ANG, making her an "alicorn." Her element is Magic. That leaves Sprout's element as loyalty, which I guess makes sense. Sprout put Maretime Bay in front of everything else, even if he did become a dictator in the process. He's also really competitive with Hitch, and Rainbow Dash is known for her competitiveness. I probably didn't get this 100% right, so if anyone has any different ideas, please feel free to share

In G4, the order of things was pretty easy to understand. You had season 1, then 2, then 3, and so on. Based on the year it was released and context, we can infer that the G4 movie takes place between season 7 episode 26 and season 8 episode 1. Same goes for Equestria Girls. However, they didn’t really affect the main storyline of FiM, so it wasn’t really crucial to understand what went on in EQG and the movie. In G5, I’m supposed to start with the ANG movie. Once I finish that……..what am I supposed to watch??????? I tried starting with MYM, but I was so confused as to who the dragon guy was, and where on earth they were flying. So, I move to TYT. I still have no idea who the dragon guy is. A quick Google search told me that the dragon guy was introduced in a music video, which makes no sense and I don’t even know where to find it. Can someone give me a chronological order of G5? What am I supposed to watch after ANG? Please don’t leave out anything - even if it’s a music video that doesn’t affect the storyline. I want to watch every—single—thing in order. Also, if it’s possible, please give me the YouTube link for the video/playlist. Thanks
