  1. If you have no motivation to continue a project you never completed, should you force yourself to complete it, even if you don't want to? It's how I feel about fiction writing, except with the added complication of having no time to write.

      A lot of the new projects I deal with are completely different and I can't use any of my old stuff. Think about dealing with programming and you try to use carpentry as inspiration. Doesn't work. This is the position I'm in with writing; I'm involved in something different that it can't use anything from before. At all.

      Huh. Well, I'm solely in the conceptual business, so your situation may not be similar enough to make perfect use of my advice. :P That said, you should still keep a record of your past works, even if it's in the form of a couple noted down ideas.
