So yeah, this is me, my Rainbow Dash shirt, and my Gurren Lagann wall scroll. Gotta love my crappy cellphone camera quality. Also, MA KITTEH! (Buster):

Could you fall in love with inanimate objects?
Jay6 replied to Legit101's topic in General Discussion
This is a rather odd topic. But ya know, I love ponies. By ponies, I do mean MLP:FiM ponies. However, it's not the same love as that of a relationship, or lust. I also love Yoko from Gurren Lagann. I don't think I've ever seen a more badass next-to-naked chick in an anime until that. Pretty much, you can love anything you want to... but marrying fictional characters? No... it doesn't work that way. No matter what they are, they wont show you any true love in return. The girls in Love Plus? They're robots. From what I can recall from Friendship is Witchcraft, robots don't have souls, they can't feel pain, and the love they show isn't real; just something that's in their programming. But still, loving them is fine. On another subject, I idolize a few fictional characters. For instance, Kamina (also from Gurren Lagann) is my absolute favorite character in existance, manliest character in any series, my motivator, and my idol. If I need a boost of motivation, generally I'd just watch an episode of the series, and then I'd feel like making a giant drill to pierce through to the heavens. Hell, just go watch the series "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann." Even if you don't like giant mech anime, this is something on a completely different level of epic. It's the one series I was obsessed over before ponies took over my life, and so far the only anime set I've actually set out to buy the dvds for. Still, if it wasn't for this show, I probably wouldn't have had the energy to make it through college. Raw Raw Fight the Power! -
I do want to move to Vancouver at some point... but it's hellishly expensive to live there. Driving around town is just terrible at any point of the day... I've done it before, and... it's bad. ;_; But seriously, they have all the best sushi, best merchandise stores, best this and that... and probably one of the worst homeless problem of all of Canada. That one street... not fun to drive down; pretty depressing. Although, I'm fine in the Okanagan Valley for now. Kelowna's the only big city I have close access to at least. Just an hour drive.

By the way, I just noticed. The spelling in the topic title is "Canadien." That's the French spelling... I usually spell it Canadian.

I go through the same stuff with one friend of mine, but I'm usually good at dragging them out of depression. No matter if they yell/curse at me, or run off crying, I still believe I can drag them out. Although, any time I don't see them online for longer than 3 days, I do worry (if they haven't said that they're going on a vacation or something).

I started watching his stuff since I was in middle school... back around the time his power glove review was out. And that still is one of my favorite reviews done by him.

Posted a few more artworks from the ATG Mock War. Yay, participated in all 5 days.

Well, it's like saying someone has an addiction to TV, and wants to stop... if the person has no other desire to do something else other than watch TV, then they do have a problem. Probably with lack of motivation, or inspiration to do other things. However, I can't see how ponies have completely taken over my life, other than the fact I want to draw and animate ponies... and collect ponies.

Is there any reason why one would want to stop watching ponies? O_o;

Bronies are probably the nicest persons that exists

Well, pony artwork at least. A lot of my artworks (especially while I was in college) did not have anything to do with pony. However, my recent works have been mostly pony, and now I kinda want to show it off. I know for sure that my ATG mock war drawings will be burried in the pile of 500+ images that it normally gets, so I'll show those off too. Here's the first pony I've ever drawn: Eh, for whatever reason now, I'm really hating the colour blue for ponies. No offense to Rainbow Dash, but yeah... This is basically a ponification of my OC: Jay Moonshadow. For some reason, I figured he'd make a good pegasus. Next OC I made was for my game: Super Filly Adventure. Here's Jade: Note that she has 2 different cutiemarks in these images. It's mainly because I have a couple different endings in my game in which she gets a different cutie mark. I'm not including my Blank Flank ending illustrations mainly because I may scare young children... even though I've probably already given a few children nightmares by accident. My bad. Anyways, this character was originally going to be male, as you can probably tell by her personality in the game at times. (I can't write characters worth ****) Next artworks will be the ones that are in the ATG Mock War. I have all 5 days complete! Check them all out! Day 1: Pony in Uniform/Armor (Darren OC) Day 2: Pony in Training Day 3: Pony in a duel (Jade VS Darren) Day 4: Rescue Mission (TROGDOOOOOOOR!!) Day 5: Return Home (Probably the most happiest piece of artwork I've produced) I still have a ton of other pony drawings that I've done other than just these, of course. These are mainly the more completed ones. The rest are... well, I still need to complete this LARGE storyboard (20 minute animation?! SERIOUSLY, WTF was I thinking?!) for a LARGE animation that I plan to do myself (I should have really found a way to make it a collaberation). Project: Something Broke - animation. If you haven't heard of the song Something Broke, it's a fairly epic song done by Tarbyrocks. Look him up. The song is pony related... (and also cupcakes related, but it's damn good) If you're interested in looking into my other artworks, check out my Deviantart page here: http://jay6-the-cana...deviantart.com/

Animator... Currently that is my hobby. I finished taking school for that, but I haven't gone and applied myself. I'm attempting to make a flash animation reel... and a rather long flash animation project. What the hell was I on when I decied to take this project...?

My first exposure to it was when my friend (Hax Mega) complained that My Little Ponies were everywhere, and he wanted nothing to do with it. I suggested we should watch it anyways to see what the fuss is (I knew nothing of the show), but he refused. I looked at a clip from the show, and thought "This would be something nice for my niece to watch, I guess...?" and thought nothing much else of it. A day later, Hax Mega approaches me again, and suggests that we should watch MLP:FiM. I was a bit confused, but decided to watch anyways. Since then, I guess I was a brony. This was way back in March last year. I knew nothing of the brony community or Equestria Daily until watching all the episodes.

Male, 21 (turning 22 soon), favorite colour is Red. Used to be blue, but over the years, I grew more fond of red. It's a brighter colour in a way. Usually I'm more happy wearing a red shirt than I am wearing a blue shirt. Just kinda odd psychology. Although, when I'm wearing ponies, I'm always happy.

I had a GF for a whole 5 days. It was worth it for what it was, but she broke up with me (and no, we didn't do it). I wasn't angry or sad; I just respected her decision (and stayed on her good side). Besides, I had school to focus on at the time. I can kinda see why the relationship didn't really go anywhere. There was a girl I also liked in school too, but she had a BF. I probably wont get a GF until I at least get a job in my career. That seems to be the only time it seems worth it; when I've finally settled down with something. I'm soon turning 22, and I still think it's too early in life. Basically this topic, to me, is helpful in terms of meeting people, and making friends irl. It's great if there's a common interest, then there's something to talk about.

Sorry that I haven't been here in weeks? O.o;; (I've got a lot of other things on my mind usually...)

It's too bad I'm not really looking for a GF at the moment. I'm happy being single... and yet the advice in this topic is pretty good too. However, I don't mind finding friends. Lady friends are good to have.

Hiya, I'm Jay. Real name: Justin (not used to using my name online). I currently live in Penticton BC, Canada. Awesome city... Yeah... several hours away from Seattle. I made a pony game called Super Filly Adventure (and the parody SOPA/PIPA Filly Adventure). I'm also an animator... kinda as a hobby currently. I don't have much to show, and I don't have any pony animations yet. I will have SOMETHING in the future, just as long as I don't go and BROKE it. (Freakin'... 20 minute long fanimation... why did I decide to do this again?) My Devantart page is over this way: http://jay6-the-canadian.deviantart.com/ I'm still debating going. I want to look into what sort of events are going to be present. Cost isn't an issue to me.

Current age: 21 By the time of the event: 22 I'm glad that I'm pretty much around the average age, I guess.
