  1. Ewwww. Better instruments indeed. But, I can't even hear the kick. Like, at all. Plus, that cymbal clash on every 2nd is really bothering me. Definite improvement, but needs improvement still.
  2. Seeing as how most of the show's canon derives from Greek mythology, I would say that many things found in the Underworld (also known as Tatarus) would be there; with ponified names of course. Hell (no pun intended), there could even be a ponifed version of Hades that rules it. Celestia acting as Zeus, Luna as Posiedon, whoever as Hades. All these connections... Interesting bit of theorycrafting to be had. EDIT: Spelled Zeus wrong.
  3. Welp, say goodbye to decent Star Wars games. EA just got the rights to publish them.

    1. TheBronyHeart

      TheBronyHeart

What has EA done wrong? (Besides the infinite sports games)

    2. Scootalove

      Scootalove

      Many many things.

  4. Sounds fun. That doesn't seem like it was very 'stable'. You need a bigger desk, bro.
  5. Hey, you know what, it might work. Do you want you want; I have no idea what kind of sound you're shooting for.
  6. For lack of a better term. The general structure of the song is what I was talking about. I could see something like that in a professional track, had it better instruments.
  7. Melodically, that song is amazing. I can't, however, agree with the instrument choice. Everything else = fantastic. Full length it. Now.
  8. How can you determine the height of ponies given that nothing that is part of the show resembles humans. Ponies could be 500 human feet tall for all we know. There is no way to tell how tall they are without having something from the human world to have a reference point.
  9. Hardware isn't a problem. 2500k up in here. Thanks, I might have found something I can work with. I just need to tweek it a bit.
  10. What do you stream? I plan on streaming my ladder games (online) on SCII, meaning I won't be able to use all of my total speed because some of it will have to be dedicated to the game.
  11. I'm contiplating whether or not I should even attempt at streaming with a 3mbs connection. Worth it?
  12. Hilarious indeed. I had a good laugh out of that one. Triangles, triangles, triangles, triangles, triangles, triangles....
  13. I think I'd like to nominate Hold Your Colour by Pendulum. It's such a great album and I think it deserves to be on the list. I can definitely see it as one of the classics that come from the 2000s.
  14. EDM Death Machine in my pants. Not sure if that's good or not.
  15. Indeed, although it seems they are somewhat hard-pressed to produce something a little more 'original'. In the interview I mentioned earlier, Rob said that the 'whole dubstep thing' wasn't working for EDM Death Machine. Whether or not this is a sign that they are struggling or their traditional style just didn't fit the track remains to be seen.
  16. I use Spotify Free with a 3rd part program called Blockify. It mutes all the ads and (if you choose to) you can play a song from your hard drive instead. Although, I prefer silence while the ad plays. I don't really like having to store a bunch of music on my hard drive, so that's one of the main appeals to Spotify for me. Plus, as others have said, iTunes loads retardedly slow on anything that isn't a Mac.
  17. NOTE: Repost from here: http://mlpforums.com/topic/59340-haunted-house-ep/#entry1429292 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone, So, Knife Party's 3rd EP, Haunted House, was set to release on Monday, May 6th, but, knowing the Internet, it got leaked a little sooner. Has anyone else gotton the chance to fully listen and digest the tracks yet? I've posted the full EP below via YouTube. ----------------------- Power Glove - 0:00 To me, this track is the golden egg of the entire EP. It just screams Knife Party through and through. A top comment from the track a while ago was 'Only Knife Party could make something so evil sounding.' This has certainly held true with this. The only complaint I have with it is that the second drop doesn't really have the 'weight' that would make it amazing. It's been commented on by Rob on his Twitter feed that the second drop's bass is a little skewed on the leaked version (Which I have yet to fully see, as I'm listening with headphones only at this point in time), but that doens't seem to be the only problem. It just kinda' repeats itself. This was also the case with Bonfire, which I'm not fully crazy about either. Overall, though, this song is easy to bounce to and in general just fun to listen to. My Rating: 8.5/10 LRAD - 4:21 This track seems like your standard, run-of-the-mill house track, but you would be wrong to say so. Much like their previous tracks, this has the familiar flair of bounciness and epicness present. However, it would seem that Rob and Gareth were trying to go for a more club suited track, as listening at home by yourself provides no real interest. One of the reasons I'm not that much of a house fan is because of how boring it sounds, and this track definitly has that 'repeating kick' feel that is present in so many Deadmau5 tracks. To me, this track is a little underwhelming, despite what the name implies. "In da club", this track would in it's prime. At home, for the lone listener? Not so much. My Rating: 7/10 EDM Death Machine - 9:37 EDM Death Machine is one of the tracks in this EP that you really have to listen to a couple times to fully appreciate. It just grows on you. The intro of this song certainly keeps you interested for the drop with it's silly yet epic (I've used that word a lot. ) monoloug. This track feels like it was done in parts, which my observation was confirmed when Rob was talking about it with on an interview (which I cannot seem to locate now. D: ). The drop is a little underwhelming, but, as mentioned earlier, it grows on you. Once you start noticing all the little things that go on in this track, you really begin to enjoy this song. It has quickly escalated to one of my favorites from KP. However, this again suffers the same thing that LRAD does: it's a little boring; at least a first. The first time I listened to this, I was a little dissapointed. But, when you listen to it a few times, you'll be addicted. My rating: 8/10 Internet Friends (VIP Mix) - 14:00 This is simply the VIP version of Internet Friends (duh) from 100% No Modern Talking. I've always enjoyed this version moreso than the original, and it's nice to finally have an official release of the VIP. My rating: 8/10 ----------------------- Overall Rating: 8/10 I really like this new EP. It shows that Knife Party is not simply a 'one trick pony'. They can mix it up and this is their proof. Although House isn't really my thing, I will still enjoy KP for as long as they are around and I look forward to what they have planned next. ------ Youtube Link: ------ Thanks for reading. -IP

  19. Jeez, I thought this was a joke when this got out earlier. But, what about the children? You can't scar them for life like this! The children, man! Think of the children!
