  1. Since I cannot have your lovely #1 hat, I'd like to ask: what were you #1 at?
  2. *hobbles in on one leg Haha! I've defeated your dolphins! Now, can I ask another question?
  3. Can I have your #1 hat? Why isn't there an 'n' at the end of your name? (fuck the system)
  4. Yes, but there is a feature built into StarCraft II that would make things far more convenient. I was thinking about creating an 'Official StarCraft Thread' as a hub for these forums, but that's a seperate topic. Screenshots for clarity:
  5. Surprisingly enough, something like this has already happened. No, not with humans and not at a global scale, but it does exist. A species of fungus named Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, can control the host's brain and lead it to an ideal place to kill it and release its spores. From: And: http://www.popsci.com/science/gallery/2011-02/gallery-terrifying-real-life-zombies-walk-earth?image=1 These don't really offer much in terms of information, but when I saw the thread, I thought I'd bring it up. Whether or not these things could mutate to be able to control Humans is unknown, but the prospect is not as obscure as one would think.
  6. Hello all. I have a suggestion in regards to gaming. I had made a thread like this a while back, but I can't seem to find it, so I'll post it again. With the newest installment of StarCraft II, Heart of the Swarm, the new clan feature has been put to much use. I think it might be beneficial for those who play the game to have a sort of meeting place instead of simply posting character information and hoping the other guy is online when you are. With it, we could organize team and custom games and just generally hang out. I'm not sure how popular it is among these forums, and that may be the deciding factor in it's development, but I know I would love to see something like this implemented. If none of the staff here currently own the game, I could host it temporarily until one decides to purchase it. If we have no interest in implementing it, then I shall not do so. Thoughts?
  7. Why did I ever publish my first tracks. They're absolutly horrid. :o

Hey, no need to insult yourself. I'm sure they aren't horrid. Just keep practicing, and you can get better and better. Don't dwell on anything bad people said about your songs.

People haven't said anything about them. I've been learning more and more about this and when I look back, it's just awful. Premature publishing at its finest. :S

  8. Very chill. The kick, I feel, doesn't really stand out as much as it should, though. All I can hear when all the sounds are playing is the high end of it. Maybe this was your intention, I'm not sure, but it kinda' bothers me. Also, I think you could have brought in your hats a bit smoother. They just kinda 'started'. Overall, though, it's a decent track. Good job.
  9. Fun Fact: Gay also means 'happy'. So, it can be used as an adjective. Not in the context that most use it in, but still.
  10. Not trying to embarrass you or anything, but those aren't displayed to others. Just you. Welcome to the forums! I'm sure you'll be a wonderful addition to the community.
  11. That's true and I thought about throwing that in my initial response, but I thought better of it. The point I was trying to make was that he (Flutter Hooves) didn't want dinosaurs based on the fact that they would become a villian of some sort, which would seem highly unlikely compared to the other monsterous beasts of Equestria. At this point, is a little late to introduce dinosaurs because of how long the show has been running without them, though. I, personally, don't have that much of a problem with the redundancy of it all, as we don't see much of these creatures that much in the first place.
  12. By that logic, you would also be against Dragons and Hydra's, no? Seeing as how they both resemble dinosaurs in plenty of ways, I don't think it would be much of a problem if we have the aforementioned creatures in the show already. I would imagine that if they were to implement them, they would act like Dragons and Hydras as well. No one said anything about making them a 'main villian'. Simply an obstacle.
  13. It was episode 27, I believe. That number stands out in my mind. I was watching it when I was reading the comments (Only the top comments, to not risk too many spoilers). One of them said "I'm not a brony! *checks episode number* ...dammit, I'm a brony." At first, I chuckled a bit and checked the episode number myself. Then, it kinda struck me. I was a brony. Although, I was extremely receptive to the show because I started with the 'mature' side of the fandom (Princess Molestia and Cupcakes) and it eventually eased into Kyrospawn's videos. Anybody who knows of him knows how it goes.
  14. And here I thought it was because we we're trying to be hipsters. Well, I was.
  15. I do most of my gaming on the PC, and I do a large amount of music production as well. The games I own are too much to remember; the games I play most of the time are: StarCraft II Tribes: Ascend Portal Minecraft a little bit of Age of Empires now and then. That's about it. The rest of my time is devoted to browsing teh Interwebs and Music and Map making.
  16. I'm near-sighted at -3.50 if that means anything. It's pretty bad, but I'm not sure what the ratio is. I've been wearing correctional lenses since, I think, I was about 11 or 12.
  17. Keyboards, my love to thee. The one I currently use is Metadot's Das Ultimate. It is a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Blue keycaps (which click VERY loudly) and sports uninscripted keys. Yes, they keys are blank. So, if you're a hunt-and-pecker, don't get this. One step down is the Das Proffesional, which also sports the Cherry MX Blue keycaps. The difference being that there is inscriptions so you can get this if you are a hunt-and-pecker. The keyboard is good for all around use and doesn't have any macro keys if you game a bit. It's simplistic and aims to have exactly what you're wishing for. The old IMBs with a modern look. The only lights here are the lights that signify caps lock, number lock, and scroll lock. It also provides 2 USB slots on the keyboard with it's own power. Yes, there are two USBs to plug in, which are spliced from one cable. It can be found here: http://www.daskeyboard.com/ There are others out there which I have not used such as the Razer BlackWidow with similar specifications. (the BlackWidow has backlit keys, 5 macro keys, and weighs 3.3 lbs.) Other brands I would recommend checking out is Logitech and SteelSeries. Hope this helps! -IP
  18. Very nice. The melody is good, the transitions and breaks add interest to the song, and all the pieces flow niceles together. One complaint, however. You touched on it in the OP, but your drum mixing could be done better. The Hihats and Snares are fine, but the Kick is... less than impressive. It resides in sub range frequencies, which clutter up your bassline and makes it difficult to hear. Cut the sub out and boost the lower mids a bit (200-300 range). Other than that, this is great. Good job.
  19. I would normally argue why this is just flat out wrong but, for the sake of the thread, I won't. I stand by my previous statement.
  20. I can pretty much agree to that entire wall of text right there. You also touched on something that held the biggest problem for me in that episode. Ownership of the farm. Honestly, I think the writers skewed the odds against AJ on purpose, but the competition was not fair to begin with. Now, there is obviously the ability to produce cider faster, but it's the source that gets me. The apples that the FFB used came from her farm. Had the FFB used an external source to compete with, I wouldn't have a problem with the episode. The fact that the FFB used her apples in a competition over the very farm involved, which is owned by AJ, just disqualifies the FFB in my mind.
