Does Your Ponysona Need to be Exactly Like You?

Meh. Koukatsu is a little fact about my history and personality, as well as a lot of fiction about how things played out in that history. He's part who I've been, and part who I want to be, and suffers from some of my same flaws. :\

I don't think a ponysona needs to be a mirror. If you think it's a pony version of yourself, that's good enough, IMO.

I don't fully believe your OC or ponysona, needs to be exactly looking like you, but personality wise is a defient for me.

 

She is exactly who I would be in a situation, story or event. But I do not have black hair with rainbow highlights. I'm actually a burnet, with just as long hair though. However I do wish to get rainbow highlights permeantly hehe.

 

I am very white, not albino but I"m as white as I am in my family. I do have greenish eyes, and my ears are actually small in contrast to being big hehe.

The way I see it is, that if you think about it... a persona is like a role you take on, an example would be an actor. They adopt a persona when acting. I'd say ponysona is basically no different, your pony is how you want it to be.

No, and I see that more people have their ponysona as more of an idealized version of themselves which puts me in the same boat.

I think my problem is I have a lot

Tao:  Loves to understand and do research and explore.

Nevermore Midnight:  Runs a occult shop and makes spells and charms.

Rhode:  Loves nature and being outside but is a flirt and playful.

Sallie:  Full on book worm and lover but also insightful .

I don't think this counts as a ponysona. I'd say it's just an OC tht wa soronslly intended as a persona but got derailed.

The reason being that your backstories and appearanced are so different, and a ponysona is esentially supposed to be a pony with the same history, look, and personality as you...just in pony skin.

 

Long story short, yes, a ponysona should be exactly like you--or as close to that as you can get. Otherwise it's just an OC.

My ponysona is me if I hadn't changed my career goals. You can make your ponysona as close or as far away to you as possible, my opinion anyway.

it can basically be anything you want as long as it's based on you,

if it isn't based on you, it's pretty much just a regular pony OC. xD

 

in any case, just have fun with it and it will be okay.

I agree. if your pony has the core personality and other aspects of yourself, then, for me anyway, it's a ponysona.
