I usually don't watch Teen Titans GO, but i was channel surfing one day and caught this...

So then i remembered that Tara Strong also voices Raven... and i thought "Did they really go as far to spoof MLP in the show, AND have Tara's character like the show?" 

 

Just wondered what anyone's thoughts/opinions were on this. or if anyone else noticed this...

That was a funny episode but if only the part with the funny sandwhich eating was in it and also the end was funny when Robin asked the question. Teen Titans GO! is a great show.

Well that was...terrifying... :blink:

I had no idea they have done something like this to Teen Titans...

 

Only redeeming quality is Tara's voice.

She also did the original Ravens voice in the older, good Teen Titans

 but yea...i was like WAIT A SECOND

Haha I find it funny. I think it's just to humor those that know the whole MLP-TaraStrong-Raven connection.

Funfact: Robin's VA voiced Danny from the G1 show, so I guest it's also an actor allusion along with Tara

Wow there is no character similarity there Robin's awesome and then this Danny of all I saw from being grossed out by the theme song and seeing 30 seconds of an episode is a square.

I don't watch Teen Titans GO because it's a poor imitation of the original and is good only for having all the original voice actors back, but that was awesome! I'm pretty sure Tara used Twilight Sparkle's voice for one of the pretty pegasi as well.

 

Tara Strong has spoofed MLP in a number of things using Twilight's voice. She also does a passable impression of Pinkie Pie.
