So what will be this year's SDCC Exclusive Pony?

In 2012, Hasbro released the MLP Derpy Hooves toy at their Hasbro toy shop.   It quickly became one of the hottest items at Comic-Con and it sold out fast.  I have one.

 

In 2013, Hasbro released the DJ Pon-3 Toy at Comic-Con with Swarovski Crystals on her horn and glasses.  I bought two of em, one of which went to a relative.

 

Now it seems Hasbro is about ready to reveal the MLP toy at this year's Comic-Con.  The big question is: What will it be?  Who will join Derpy and Pon-3 as a Comic-Con exclusive toy?  Maud Pie?  Cheese Sandwich? Coco Pommel? Discord?

At EQD there was a running gag that it was actually a physical Question Mark ... complete with a backstory, world building requests, and lamenting her Alicornification. Great fun that was,

 

It's likely to be Dr. Hooves or Octavia. Though I would flip out if it was Discord!

Maud Pie, Cheese Sandwich or Octavia would be my guess (although Octavia's already gotten some toy love, so it might not be her). Silver Spoon is also a possibility, as there's already a Diamond Tiara toy.

 

If they want to do something epic, though, for a future year if not this one, I hope they do one of Stellar Eclipse and give proceeds to the Make A Wish foundation.

No clue, but that would be pretty cool. Though knowing Hasbro, I have a feeling it's solid plastic tendrils.

Speculation on the MLP Arena is that the pony's hair is poseable - like, a rubber material with a wire underneath so it can be bent and moved around. Hopefully that would explain the kinda hasty awkwardness of the tendrils.
