Oh there is far far far "worse" out there lol. Tread very carefully throughout the internet. And it was created by someone who liked the idea of those two being together. There are some ships that rub me the wrong way, too, but fans can and do make just about whatever they want involving the ponies. If it really bothers you, you could go write a fanfic where Flash Sentry falls in a hole, gets stuck, and no one saves him or even cares. I do ship Twilight and Pinkie Pie though, they're just SO ADORABLE TOGETHER. Also Flash Sentry the waifu thief strikes again. And i'll be honest; I think Flash is a pretty cool guy. And he absolutely could not wait to shed his heavy armor; stretch his cramped wings a bit when no one was looking. He was physically tired. Exhausted, really. And mentally exhausted, as well. He'd been thinking nigh constantly of that alluring alicorn princess... Her name... Even her name was... But her name would not save him from the fall. No, neither his mind nor his eyes were at all focused on things that were underhoof, and the gaping, just-conveniently-happens-to-be-there hole in his path cared not of his romantic dreamings. He fell. He gave a scream on the way down. A strangely, unexpectedly girlish scream that not even he knew was inside him. He fell. And fell. Time needs to be spend developing Flash as a character before the relationship can be seen as real, let alone serious. I haven't seen EqG but from what I can gather Flash is hardly the most scholarly stallion on the block and I don't see Twilight ending up with someone who doesn't enjoy scholarly pursuits. Then again, I haven't seen EqG so Flash could be in Mensa for all I know.
