Pinkie Pie: Comedy and craziness in pony form. Which is really good, because I love characters that embody those characteristics. It's why Pinkie Pie is locked in an intense battle with Rainbow Dash for my best pony.

 

Princess Cadence: I'm rather neutral towards her. There's nothing I really don't like about her and I have no reason to dislike her (In particular, the common criticism of pink-product-placement-princess really doesn't matter to me), but at the same time there's nothing about her that makes me like her either.

I don't have much pony merchandise. The most recent I've gotten is a poster of the Mane 6, except each of them has been drawn like the evolutions of Eevee. I can use it to show off my love for both ponies and Pokemon at once! As for favorite dessert, there's no dessert in particular I like, but I definitely like things made with chocolate. Chocolate is great!

I'm a meteorologist! That means I research the weather! I work at the local weather station, borrowing their equipment for use in my research. I also sometimes help them with the weather forecasts, especially when they're understaffed because some other workers can't make it for some reason.

 

About Princess Luna... Well, I don't really know what to think. I've never met her. I just know she governs Equestria along with Princess Celestia, and I'm sure she's doing a good job of it. I respect her, of course, I just don't think I know her that well.

Rainbow Dash? She has the element of loyalty, right? I've never met her myself, but if she's part of the weather team, she might have worked with some of the other ponies at the weather station in organizing the weather for the next few days. I personally have had nothing to do with her, though.

 

My favorite food is hayburgers. It's unfortunate that the food I really like is also unhealthy for you, so I have to limit how much I have, but it's not my fault hayburgers taste so good!

Snow? Fluttershy? I'm sorry to say I don't know who either of them are. Are they famous? Fluttershy does sound vaguely familiar, but Snow doesn't ring any bells. My best guess is they're both popular unicorns in Canterlot. Since I don't know them, I suppose you could say I feel perfectly neutral towards them if you really want an answer... Sorry I can be more informative than that.

I like a lot of instruments, but if I had to pick a single one, it would a guitar, mainly because I spent about a year in high school learning how to play an acoustic guitar. Sound-wise, I prefer electric guitars, but they're way more expensive than acoustic guitars, so I went with acoustic while learning. However, I soon lost interest and eventually stopped taking classes. I still have my guitar though, and occasionally play some very simple, easy songs (since I can't play anything beyond that) for fun. At one point, I tried learning how to play various video game soundtracks as well, which is the main thing I do with it the few times I use it now.

 

Also, nice rhyming! And please, no killing!

Standard unicorn telekinesis. I have had no need to learn any other spells.

Perhaps. But my current repertoire of spells has served me well. My role is to find which pony is responsible for a crime. The task of apprehending the criminal falls to other ponies, so spells useful in apprehension have little use to me.

Oh? But couldn't you be more effective if you both found who did a crime and apprehended them? You wouldn't need to call in for reinforcements when you found out who did it, you could just go and catch them. Wouldn't that save valuable time?

That would require me to undergo a significant amount of training. I don't have the skills others do for apprehending criminals. But I have the skills to find out who committed the crime, which others lack. I see no need train in something that others are already proficient in doing.

 

That said, I feel the system is slow, and waiting is not a preferable course of action when dealing with criminals. I also don't have full trust in their abilities to arrest the criminal successfully. But even if I were to have the skills necessary to arrest a criminal, I fear my... disdain for criminals could interfere with my better judgment if I see them.

Most criminals are scum, and certainly aren't deserving of any sympathy. They willing gave up any chance they had at a productive life to pillage and murder innocents. The very best thing you could do for these individuals would be to arrest them by any means necessary, so they have a chance to be rehabilitated by the equestrian prison system. Besides, don't you trust in your own professionalism?

I believe you are misguided about how long it would take to get the training necessary. If I theoretically were capable of such feats, I agree that what you suggest is a good thing. But realistically, I cannot do that without either risking my well-being or spending a lot of time undergoing training. Which is time I could have spent investigating crimes.

 

Perhaps the best alternative would be finding a friend I trust who has the relevant training, so I can ask him to capture any criminals I identify. But making new friendships isn't something I'm good at. And that's not much different than just going to law enforcement and explaining my findings. However, it'll likely be a bit faster.

 

Most criminals are scum, and certainly aren't deserving of any sympathy. They willing gave up any chance they had at a productive life to pillage and murder innocents.
