Pinkie is the pony who makes friends with just about everypony always with a smile on her face. Shanks 10,816 July 6, 2014 Share July 6, 2014 A bit of a toss up between Applejack and Pinkie Pie though Pinkie Pie does have some issues with personal space at times. As we saw Applejack is the one who gave Twilight the friendliest welcome when she first came to ponyville and practically treating her as another member of the family. (I think 90% of her flaws are based on a feedback loop; If you're happy I'm happy = if I'm happy you're happy). She also wants the happiness to be positively based; that's why laughing at her was so bad. On the other hand she's (in many ways) the most socially awkward of the ponies and that's why she ends up being mean to Flutters in "Music in You" Functionally nice? Twilight in later seasons, AJ in earlier. AJ hasn't had much development because her problems are so minor in comparison to the other mane 6. Rarity's generosity ironically makes her often not nice at all. To be generous you have to have something to be generous with. This feedback loop of hers is quite distracting to many viewers. RD has made the most progress and in the last season has had more success in functional niceness than Pinkie. so intentions 2 pinkie 3 AJ 4 Twily 5 Rarity (earlier seasons) RD (later seasons) 6 vice versa Functionality 2 AJ (earlier seasons) Twily (later seasons) 3 vice versa 4 Rarity (earlier seasons) RD (later seasons) 5 Pinkie (earlier) RD (later) 6 Poor Pinkie, ends up dead last in later seasons, though she tries SOOOOO hard.
