Ah yes well about monster hunter. I was well on my way to HR 999 (about 40 levels away) when I lent my 3DS to my brother while he was sick in Hospital. I accidentally left the cartridge in and he took it out to put his own (his was flat so I probably should have just brought a charger with me on hindsight.. :/ )
But on the end he placed my game somewhere and I haven't seen it since.

I have a spare copy, but I'd be starting from scratch again. I figure by the time I recover MH Generations will be out, which we totally have to play!

Uhh, yes, of course. Every path is trapped. I haven't forgotten about any of them. It's not like I left some of them unguarded because I haven't been under a large-scale attack for a while.

 

That sucks. Monster Hunter is one of the worst games to lose all your progress in. Anyway, I'd love to play with you again if you get back up to G-rank. I'd also be happy to do some low rank or high rank hunts too! And yes, we're definitely playing MH Generations when it comes out!

Yeah... I kind of lost track of those stats at some point, then a few months later I thought I'd go update them and then quickly decided against it since it seemed it would take way too long (I do read every post as it happens, but that would involve re-reading through maybe a few thousand posts or so in one go instead of reading them as they happened over those months!). And now it's a year later and it's just getting more and more unlikely I'll be able to get them up to date again.

 

Maybe sometime, I'll just start re-reading this entire thread again from the very first post and retake all the statistics again. It would probably take a few weeks or months to do, but then I can get everything up to date again and make sure it's completely accurate. I might also be able to take down some extra statistics, or get links to all of my previous freakouts and other notable posts so they can easily be found again.

Yeah, when the severity of the attacks go down, I start uninstalling some traps. Some of them are a huge drain on my power comsumption and really ramp up my power bills, after all! I can't leave them running all the time when they're accomplishing nothing! I'd lose all my money in no time! Of course, the downside to that is that I'm not ready when the attacks get more severe again...
