I dropped a metal flashlight on a linoleum floor right outside a bedroom door where someone was trying to sleep. It made a loud crash and no one slept through it.

I dropped my little pistol on the kitchen floor. It wasn’t very well secured to my waistband at the time. Don’t worry, the safety was on and it was in its holster so I didn’t shoot myself in the foot.

It's a Hollywood thing that guns go off when they're dropped.

The gun manufacturers don't want to be sued and have enough trouble with legislature so they put a lot of money into safety.
