what happens at anime clubs

hey as you guys might have noticed lately I've been starting lots of topics after the highschool administration/meeting happend. Well at one point they were talking about clubs and one of the students mentioned the anime club and I was interested. so here I am now asking what sort of things go on in anime clubs just so I know ahead of time (kinda have an obsession with knowing whats going on next)

Depends on the aggregate weebishness of the people involved. If it's low it'll be a chill place to hang out, make friends who have at least something in common with you, and put together groups for your local anime cons. If it's high then it'll be a very frightening place to be. But there might always be at least one bad apple, so bear that in mind.

I joined an anime club in highschool amd as goodgame said it was a chill place to hang out talk about and share anime and manga and after awile we started talking dragoncon and otakon and we actually started learning how to make cosplay. We got really good at it as well because we all worked together on the stuff.

I think "chill place to hang" describes it very well. In my anime club we would watch anime ( shōnen one month, shōjo the next), we'd have Japanese lessons, play pictionary, all that fun stuff.

 

We also did seasonal stuff — a Halloween party/Quiz night, secret Santa, etc. It's all fun.
