How did you find MLP Forums?: Through the magic of friendship! Aka word of mouth.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: My bestie on Deviantart encouraged me to watch and the rest is history. Joined the herd about halfway through season two and haven't looked back since.

Hi, everypony! My name's Simeon and I'm a brony. I love My Little Pony for its message of friendship, unapologetic sincerity, and the quality of the show itself in terms of production value. Simply put, My Little Pony is a work of excellence and deserves to be celebrated. I do that by participating in the brony community. Plus, fun! I love fun things! Despite all the silliness and fandom drama, I believe bronies are people who want to be good and do right. That's why I wear the badge. I would still love the show without the community, but being a part of it has truly had a positive impact on my life. I feel more confident and happier, and I've made some great friends along the way. It might sound corny, but I believe the show either speaks to you or it doesn't. FiM didn't just speak to me, it got all up in my face and screamed "You're going to LOVE ME!!!"   And I did!

 

So, about me. I consider myself friendly and approachable - a little shy at times, but not so much at brony conventions, which are my favorite thing ever. I've been to three, the last two Bronycons and Canterlot Gardens back in '12. I've also been to a few local meetups in my area. I draw a little (badly) so if you want to see my (bad) pony art or read my incoherent ramblings, you can go to http://simeonleonard.deviantart.com and check 'em out. Besides pony worship, I love to travel when I can. I do some hiking to stay active and I dabble in astronomy and photography. 

 

Twilight is best pony because she's smart and courageous.

Alicorn Twilight is awesome beyond all awesomeness. I was briefly against it but came around well before "Mystery Cure" aired, and then was like "ERMAGERD!"

Equestria Girls was great, although I'm a little nervous about the sequel. 

 

And I think that's enough about me! I've always tempered my involvement with fandom (especially forums) so as not to burn out or drift too far from canon, but I'm looking forward to meeting more fans and participating in MLP Forums!
