searching Everfree forest adventure / choice/situation-RP (3 players)

This RP will ben an eventRP, certain questions will be asked and choice will have to be made in order to progress this RP.

Each pony is required to link their active pony's charactersheet here for approval.

This RP will have an unchanging, turnbased system where each turn will be preluded by a post from the DM (me) to explain the situation and present the challenge/choice/question to the person who's turn it is.

The DM will have a main storyline that can be heavily influenced by how players react and what they do in their posts. anything goes as long as it sticks in the logic of the situation and is possible with what is given and what is possessed. The continuation of the story will be changed mildly by the writer's own actions and heavily by the choises and answers that are given to the DM's situational post. Substantial timelapses are NOT ALLOWED in this RP when persons make their free posts.

Turnorder is decided by who comes first and the ponies will each have a different starting location and time

Each pony will have a standard set of items.
Each pony will choose  items to bring along.
Some items will be given to each pony individually.

Each pony will have a standard set of abilities according to how their character sheet has been presented. These character sheets will be posted in the OOC before start and must be agreed upon by the persons in question before the RP can start

3 ponies each have their eyes set to the everfree forest to investigate a rather interesting rumor that has been going around, supposed to be a myth, an old pony ranger is supposed to live somewhere in the depths of the everfree forest. lt is said that he has an unmeasurable amount of knowledge and can even make magical potions that have never been heard of before. Tale has it that this recluse is responsible for most of the health  of the enormous forest, but it does sound a bit crazy. The adventurer's want to document this and put certainty into this gossip. Will they ever find the truth? Will they survive, out in the Everfree forest for an unknown time? Will they proove to ponykind thatt this gossip is fiction or fact?

please keep in mind that your skillset will be based of the positive and negative aspects of your character, l will not take an overpowered character or and underpowered character

Two things:

  1; you will be limited in what you can carry where powers is concerned, so out of the four suits you will have to choose one main suit and one side-suit

 2. l will need a more detailed personality or better impressia in it, use keywords that define a greater amount of personality.

 

lt is certainly interesting but l want you to realise that survivability plays a huge role in this RP, just so you know

Sure, please know that character sheets will be judged on strengths and weaknesses and that in chosing to approve a character certain modifications can be asked or certain tweaks to performance may be incorporated, of which you will be notified seperately

You do qualify, there are some things that need discussing on your character. Please keep a close look on you PM inbox and enjoy the Dungeon.

The spots have been filled and l will now individually start making the setup with the different contestants in order of signup.
This involves:
 

a. making a skillsheet for your character through google douments
b. discussing pro's and cons of you character
c. finalizing the setup with pointers

Please keep a close eye on your PM inbox, the message will be sent there whenever it is your turn to start with the setup.

For several things l recommend back to the first post, please read it before asking me any questions. lf you do have questions then please write them down and keep a close eye on this topic, every question posted will be displayed and answered here. Please know that this dungeon places you in specific situations which are dictated by different factors on the characterpage that was shown for entry, this applies to situations for (e.g.) race, ability, personality, craftiness, etc.
 

This, as l would like everypony to remember, is a choice-RP, which essentially means that posts made must resolve around the storyline given as a proper reaction to it in the form of a decision. Please don't adress unecessary topics or deviate from the situation. If it will clarify things: l am looking for REACTIONARY posts.
 

If there is any confusion towards progressing the RP, then please post questions about it in PM's. Do NOT post them in this topic for this creates spoilers for future contestants. Anyone doing so will be given a warning or a ban, in which the latter means that the dungeon will open up on a spot again. Players allready in will keep their achievements and the person joining will be given a "latejoin bag of goodies" and a "latejoin character buff" to minimise the level difference. (please note that this player will still be level 1 and essentially weaker than the other two)
