Do you ever struggle with sleeping?

I get like an HR or 2 tops, I really struggle with getting a good night's sleep, and it's even worse now that I have to sleep with my back elevated bc of my esophagus and stomach problems. Hellish, wish I could get 8-10 hrs lol

Lately I've been struggling a little bit because I've been having weird dreams. My brain has enjoyed lately taking seemingly innocent parts of my day and turning them into a dark or confusing mess.

I have for the majority of my life. Fortunately, I've been on medication for it since 2022 and it has helped a fair bit. I can actually achieve the recommended eight hours that alluded me for so long!!

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I think I’ve replied to a thread that was similar to this one before. Either way, I always struggle with falling asleep. On a good night it takes me maybe 20-30 minutes to actually fall asleep. On a bad night it’s multiple hours. And when I do get to sleep I have a hard time waking up. Which I guess is better than struggling to fall asleep and stay asleep?

Thankfully not too often, it really does bite the nights that I do end up laying awake for ages. Of course those are usually the nights I have an especially early wake up fast approaching.

That’s rough man, very glad that you can at least stay asleep, I feel especially bad for the light sleepers.

Gee, I’m super glad to hear you’ve had that success man! Sleep ain’t no joke so that is an awesome improvement.

When I was little I had a lot of issues with sleeping. I hated going to bed for that reason since I'd just be laying in the dark bored. Nowadays I fall asleep really quick and sleep like a rock for a little, but then wake up way too early and struggle with getting back to sleep.

Yes.

Every time I close my eyes I'm pledged by the memories of traumas past. Some don't care, some disregard and tell me to push through. At the end of the day I'm drained, tired, and want enteral sleep. I love my job, and the jobs I've had in the past, but the things I've done, seen, and been through make it difficult. The constant ringing in my ears, and the deafening sound that the silence brings is enough to keep up the heaviest sleeper. I find myself thinking of all the good I've done and look toward the good I know I can do, and finally I can sleep.
